SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS
From Ipswich Turf Club Meeting 25/2/2015 – Race 5
Stewards today questioned S. Galloway (DON'T TELL CYRIL) regarding the disappointing performance of the mare. Jockey Galloway stated that the horse was able to race up on the speed as anticipated however, shortly after straightening when placed under pressure failed to respond and weakened badly. Jockey Galloway was of the view that it was only the mare's second start this preparation and was stepping up in distance. Jockey Galloway added that in his opinion although it has some wet track form in the past the filly failed to handle the soft track conditions, which he believed contributed to its disappointing performance. Stewards were also advised that the horse has since had throat surgery.
GENERAL
As App S. Fawke and App M. MacGillivray were indisposed due to illness stewards permitted rider changes as per the Stewards Race Day Summary

The start was delayed considerably when A REAL HEARTBREAKA proved very difficult to load. After being loaded the filly was then fractious in the gates and then bounded as the start was effected losing ground. Stable representative G. Thompson was advised that a barrier certificate would be required before the filly would be permitted to start.
