As it straightened, and  as the start was effected,  GIVE US  A CUDDLE again became fractious, reared and turned its head to the near side into the adjoining stall.  As stewards were of the view that, other than for its own actions the horse was afforded a fair start and was not impeded by any other outside influence, GIVE US A CUDDLE was declared a starter.  Trainer B. Currie was advised that  GIVE US A CUDDLE  would be required to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to being permitted to race again.
