Race 1: AN ARVO TRACKSIDE QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1100 metres
 
KOBE LAD – Fractious in the barriers. Jumped awkwardly inconveniencing GLENEAGLE MISSILE.
 
SPANISH ANGELS – Jumped awkwardly making contact with NINETYNINE NOT OUT.
 
GLENEAGLE MISSILE – Brushed and carried wider on jumping.
 
KATYSPHERE – Jumped awkwardly making contact with MILANO BOOM.
 
MILANO BOOM – Bumped on jumping and lost ground. Approaching the 700m steadied off the heels of KOBE LAD. 
 
NINETYNINE NOT OUT – Bumped on jumping.
 
 
Race 2: FRANCIS BESGROVE BIRTHDAY Class 5 Handicap 1100 metres
 
Following the running of race 1 the track was upgraded to a soft 7.
 
KRAKATOA ERUPTION – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
MOUNTBATTEN – Fractious in the barriers.
 
EXACTAMENTE – Began awkwardly shifting in.
 
REST OF THE WORLD – Slow to begin. Shortly thereafter hampered when EXACTAMENTE jumped inwards. Near the 600m raced keenly at the heels of MONTENEGRO MAN.
 
 
Race 3: THE RUCKER Maiden Handicap 1350 metres
 
CASUAL SUCCESS – Jockey T Wolfgram reported he was feeling unwell post-race and was examined by QAS and cleared to fulfill his remaining engagements.
 
SUZURIN – Began awkwardly. Jockey A Fancourt reported her mount raced greenly throughout.
 
GOLDEEL – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight, bumped on the hind quarters by OFF ROAD near the 100m and became unbalanced.
 
OFF ROAD – Slow to begin. App W Peel then elected to allow her mount to stride forward and  reach the lead near the 700m. Laid out when placed under pressure in the home straight bumping with GOLDEEL near the 100m.
 
AFSOON (NZ) – Began awkwardly. Leaving the 800m obliged to steady when being crossed by OFF ROAD. App W Peel was reprimanded pursuant to AR131(a) for this incident.
 
MAGIC BOOM – Improved onto the heels of CASUAL SUCCESS approaching the finishing line and was steadied by its rider.
 
 
Race 4: SUNDAY BRUNCH AT THE BARN Maiden Handicap 1350 metres
 
REALISED – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
CYCLONE BLACKIE – Trainer C Meagher advised that the gelding would be ridden further forward. Ridden accordingly. Bumped on jumping. Laid in under pressure over the final 100m.
 
NO MORE RED – Jumped awkwardly, making contact with CYCLONE BLACKIE, before shifting inwards and bumping with MAX'S SOURCE. Raced wide early.
 
TANGO TINO – Jumped awkwardly, bumping with MAX'S SOURCE. Near the 800m when racing keenly was obliged to steady after improving onto the heels of REALISED.
 
CLAUDIUS – Slow to begin. Near the 1000m when over racing was awkwardly placed on the heels of MAX'S SOURCE which shifted out. Continued to race keenly for some distance.
 
MAX'S SOURCE – Began awkwardly then bumped. Raced keenly near the 1000m and shifted out.
 
 
Race 5: TAB VENUE MODE Class 3 Plate 1350 metres
 
AURON – Began awkwardly. Laid out rounding the home turn. When questioned regarding the gelding’s performance jockey G Cartwright reported that whilst her instructions were to be neutral on the gelding leaving the barriers, after beginning awkwardly she was then reluctant to apply forward pressure to AURON as it can over race. Jockey G Cartwright also added that AURON raced ingenuously throughout and when placed under pressure in the home straight failed to respond to her riding and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significate findings. Stable representative G Cavanaugh was advised that a warning would be placed on the geldings racing manners.
 
CHEVYCHASER – Jockey A Spinks reported that his mount was inclined to hang out at various stages throughout the event.
 
EXPERT EYE – Carried wider near the 900m by LITTLE MISS PIXIE which shifted out when over racing. Jockey L Tilley was then obliged to race wide for the remainder.
 
LITTLE MISS PIXIE – Near the 900m when over racing shifted out.
 
MINJEE – Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly. Raced keenly in the middle stages.
 
 
Race 6: KINGSLEY LAWSON LAWYERS QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate 1350 metres
 
COMMIT TO SUCCESS – Rider A Fancourt reported her mount hung out significantly approaching and rounding the home turn proving very difficult to ride. Post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in its off fore, trainer P Duff was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding resuming.
 
HATCHET – Began awkwardly. Between the 900m-700m was tightened for racing room by MISHANI DIVA which was laying in despite the efforts of its rider.
 
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE – Between the 1100m-1000m bumped on several occasion with IDONO. Bumped rounding the home turn when SHANI AWARD shifted out to improve.
 
LADY VALENTINE – Slow to begin.
 
MISHANI DIVA – Began awkwardly then hampered and lost ground. App J Cornish then elected to allow her mount to stride forward and race outside HATCHET near the 1000m. Raced keenly and inclined to lay inward between the 900m-700m.
 
SHANI AWARD – Began awkwardly.
 
IDONO – Between the 1100m-1000m bumped on several occasion with IMMEDIATE RESPONSE, the raced wide the remainder.
 
 
Race 7: GREAT NORTHERN RATINGS BAND 0 - 62 Handicap 1700 metres
 
EDIFICATION – Trainer M Brosnan was fined $100 pursuant to LR67 for a late rider declaration. Began awkwardly bumping with EIGHTYTHREE BRICKS. App Z Lloyd reported that his saddled shifted shortly after the start placing him at a disadvantage.
 
KIPPAX – Raced wide with cover throughout.
 
NORTHERN WOODS (NZ) – Momentarily held up leaving the 200m.
 
AVENUE OF STARS – Raced wide with cover throughout.
 
BRANDO – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
OSTERMEIER – Slow to begin. Held up rounding the home turn.
 
GIVEITALLALI – Raced three wide early. Obliged to steady rounding the home turn when App Z Lloyd shifted out to improve. App Z Lloyd was reprimanded pursuant to AR131(a) for this incident.
 
EDINBURGH – Raced keenly early.
 
BROCSON – Slow to begin.
 
EIGHTYTHREE BRICKS – Bumped on jumping.
 
 
Race 8: SIRROMET Fillies and Mares BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1200 metres
 
Start was delayed when Princess Kayos off fore needed replating.
 
SAKURA STAR – Began awkwardly.
 
BRILLIANTLY – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
DISCO BEATZ – Slow to begin.
 
AMORE PRIMUS – Began awkwardly causing its rider to become momentarily unbalanced.
 
PETITE ELLE – Raced ungenerously in the middle stages.
 
 
Race 9: RAY WHITE IPSWICH Colts, Geldings and Entires BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1200 metres
Start was delayed when MR STORM required a gear alteration behind the barrier and DEPTHS BELOW required re-saddling.
 
DEPTHS BELOW – Began awkwardly.
 
PERFECT AIM – Began awkwardly.
 
MR STORM (NZ) – Over raced middle stages. Improved onto heel near the 100m and went to the line without being fully tested.
 
STRICTLY PHYSICAL – Began awkwardly.
 
THE DEMTEL MAN – Began awkwardly. Passing the 700m improved onto heels then eased wider to improve.
 
MASTER BAYLEE – Began awkwardly.
 
BOOM RANGA – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
GOLDEN EIGHTY – Began awkwardly.
 
TIGERPOWER (NZ) – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
HERECUM DA DRUMS – Slow to begin then restrained to a position near the rail.
