GENERAL

Due to the hot weather conditions that were forecast for the Isisford race day, the start time for the programme was set at 11.00am with each race following to be started at 35-minute intervals. The race meeting was conducted in accordance with the QRIC caring for racing animals in extreme heat policy with pre-race parade times significantly reduced and the establishment of on-course cooling stations in the race-day tie-ups, parade areas and a number of other relevant measures.

The following horses were declared late scratching’s by Stewards at 10.05am when there were no riders available:
Race 2: KITSILANO BEACH

Trainer M Pitman was advised that SALTCLAY would require a Veterinary clearance before racing or trialling again.

WORKSMEUP – Shifted out shortly after jumping and forced NAORO wider. Shifted out passing the 200m and continued to lay out under pressure in the home straight.
