Race 1: WESTERN STAR HOTEL/FIRST CHOICE LOGISTICS/WATTS CATERING BM 65 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

NOBODY’S BOY – Slow into stride.

HIDDEN CHIEF – Reared as the start was effected and lost some ground.

SEAGAL – Travelled wide for the majority.

BILLY JAY – Raced wide for the majority and hung in over the concluding stages.

PIPPA’S CALL – Upon returning to the mounting yard was lame in the near foreleg. The mare was treated, trainer advised to seek further treatment and also advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to racing again.

Race 2: GRAHAM (HILLY) MAUNSELL MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres


PUBLIC FORTUNE – Slow to begin.

I’M A CLANGER – Slow to begin.

MOON LIGHT CRISTI – Slow to begin.

NAHARIYA – Slow into stride.

YULETIDE – Raced ungenerously and wide throughout.
Race 3: BRAIDWOOD STATION CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres


ATTRACTION – Stood in the barrier as the start was effected losing considerable ground, then travelled wide for the majority.

KHAPTIVATA – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

I’M MAKING A CLANG – Approaching the 150m, appeared to suffer an injury to the off side foreleg and was eased down by its rider. Upon veterinary inspection the mare was humanely euthanized.

Race 4: SNOW & MARY HALL MEMORIAL BM 60 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

BANNER – Slow to begin.

DIAMONEEZE- Slow to begin.

DIXIE MISS – Slow to begin.

KEV’S DESTINY- Hung out from the 600m.

ANOTHER SHADE – Travelled wide for the majority.

OUR MAGIC MADGE – Eased of heels at the 700m.

WILD GODSON – Jockey B. Richardson was fined $100 under AR 137(c) for making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.

Race 5: BARCOO SHIRE JUNDAH CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1400 metres

MONBAZILLAC – Slow to begin.

MANFRED THE MAN – Raced wide for the majority.
