GENERAL
 
As riders M. Murphy and M. Butler were not riding at the meeting, changes were made as per the Meeting Summary Report.
 
Trainer G Hay was issued with a reprimand pursuant to LR67(1) for failing to declare a rider for PRAIRIE LASS in race 4 by the prescribed time.


RACE 1: KILCOY GLOBAL FOODS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE (SET WEIGHTS)         800 Metres

JEANS – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight and bumped with KING OF VALHALLA over the concluding stages.
 
ZOU ZOU SHARGUSA – Slow to begin.
 
KELBRELYN – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
KING OF VALHALLA – Shifted in under pressure in the home straight and bumped with JEANS over the concluding stages.


RACE 2: KILCOY DIGGERS MAIDEN PLATE         1500 Metres

CHEEKOSWAY – Rider N. Fazackerley reported that his mount  was inclined to lay in for the majority of the event and proved difficult to ride out over the concluding stages.
 
FORTUNAS GIRL – Began awkwardly.
 
CROSS OF SCARLET – Trainer M. Morrison advised of a change of tactics in that CROSS OF SCARLET would be ridden more forward from the positive barrier if circumstances permit. Ridden accordingly. Began awkwardly and bumped with UP OVER’N GONE. Near the 1300m, became momentarily awkward and shifted out.
 
TWO TIME GIRL – Slow to begin.
 
UP OVER'N GONE – Began awkwardly and bumped with CROSS OF SCARLET.

Following the running of this race, the track was upgraded to a Soft (6).
 

RACE 3: GREAT NORTHERN BREWERY FILLIES AND MARES BM55 HANDICAP        1200 Metres

SWEET ANTHE – Began awkwardly and shifted in onto SONIC ARROW. Commenced to race fiercely whilst being restrained in the early stages, before continuing to race ungenerously for the remainder.
 
MONAZEL – Slow to begin.
 
BRAIDWOOD QUEEN – Began awkwardly and shifted out onto SONIC ARROW.
 
SONIC ARROW – Hampered between BRAIDWOOD QUEEN which began awkwardly and shifted out, and SWEET ANTHE which began awkwardly and shifted in at the start. Over raced in the early stages.
 

RACE 4: SEARLES GARDEN PRODUCTS MAIDEN PLATE            1200 Metres

ERAJA – Apprentice S. Tierney reported that in her opinion, ERAJA failed to handle the soft track conditions in today’s event.
 
SCION – Underwent a pre race veterinary examination after racing at Dalby on the 14th of February 2026 and was cleared to start. Began awkwardly and shifted in onto CLEARLY NOT. Jockey L Tilley reported that during the early stages SCION was inclined to lay in.
 
ZOODOO – Began awkwardly and shifted out onto CLEARLY NOT. Raced wide throughout. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
CLEARLY NOT – Hampered at the start and lost ground when ZOODOO began awkwardly and shifted out and SCION began awkwardly and shifted in.
 
GOLDEN NOTRE – Slow to begin.
 
 
RACE 5: KILCOY EXCHANGE HOTEL COLTS, GELDINGS AND ENTIRES BM55 HANDICAP         1200 Metres

PUROSANGUE – Shortly after the start shifted out marginally onto STORM FORCE TEN.
 
STORM FORCE TEN – Shortly after the start shifted out and away from PUROSANGUE when that runner shifted out marginally. Apprentice S. Tierney stated that after being bumped shortly after the start, STORM FORCE TEN failed to travel throughout and proved disappointing. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
JE REVE – Bumped shortly after the start when ASTERN VILLA shifted out. Raced wide for the majority. Jockey A. Sewell reported that in his opinion, JE REVE may have choked down.
 
CRAZY EYED FRED – Slow to begin.
 
ASTERN VILLA – Bumped shortly after the start when STORM FORCE TEN shifted out and away from PUROSANGUE.
 
 

RACE 6: LADBROKES ODDS SURGE BM60 HANDICAP         1500 Metres

POWER ACE – Inclined to lay in during the early stages. Near the 1300m, shifted in onto GO MARO. Apprentice L. Martyn reported that POWER ACE was inclined to lay in over the concluding stages.
 
SOCK'EMSID – Slow to begin.
 
GO MARO – Near the 1300m, raced ungenerously after shifting in and away from POWER ACE. Approaching the 1000m, was steadied from heels of POWER ACE.
 
NOTACLUEHOWORWHO – Slow to begin.
 
CHANCE WITH WOLVES – Laid out near the 1300m.
 
SHOW ME THE STARS – Leaving the 1300m, was inclined to lay out rounding the first turn. Raced wide throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and mild head stress.
