OFFICIALS

GENERAL
The following runners were scratched by order of Stewards as no suitable, or riders were available:
Race 2: PALATIAL PRINCE, HERIOC BEACH
Race 5: ELLA TE AMA, MOORABINDA MICK, KAREEM.
Due to limited riders at today’s meeting Stewards accepted reasons for all late rider declarations.
Race 1:POWERSAFE KINGAROY BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1000m
ALL WIN – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to a long spell.
GOOSE STEP – Laid out under pressure near the 200m and again approaching the 100m. Jockey L Tilley was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground.
MOONSTRIKER – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to a long spell.
DUCHESS OF ARGYLL – Near the 100m was momentarily restrained when awkwardly placed on the heels of GOOSE STEP which was shifting ground under pressure.
SHE'S MY LADY – Raced wide for the majority.
HEY PUMPKIN – Rider dropped whip at the 350m.
FLAWLESS AMBITION – Began awkwardly and was slow away.
Race 2:HON DEB FRECKLINGTON MP / RAINE & HORNE KINGAROY BENCHMARK 60 1200m
YMAURICE'S MEDAD – Slow to muster early speed.
PRINCE OF DIAMONDS – Bumped on jumping.
PERMANENCE – Commenced to lose ground from the 500m and finished tailed off. App B Harrison advised that when her mount started to give ground she placed the gelding under pressure however when PERMANENCE failed to respond she elected not to pressure the gelding further. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer G Schrader was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding.
MISHANI STORM – Began awkwardly. Apprentice J Metcalfe pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip 9 times prior to the 100m (13 totality). Apprentice Metcalfe’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days to commence 9th November 2025 up to and including the 15th November 2025.
SCARLETT THUNDER – Bumped on jumping. Near the 600m when over-racing, improved onto heels and had to be steadied.
Race 3:KINGAROY QUARRY SUPPLIES QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
STANDLEE – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
NO TUCKER – Began awkwardly.
MISHANI GRANGE – Raced wide for the majority.
SWEET POPPY – Began awkwardly and was slow away.
Race 4:MEMORIAL FOR LENIHAN, SMOOTHY, MCCONVILLE & MOLONEY FAMILIES 0-50 HCAP 1400m
MAJESTICS REQUEST – Eased down over the final 200m due to the rider having concerns over the gelding’s breathing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have increased respiratory noise. Trainer B Thornton was advised that a veterinary clearance including results of a scope was required prior to racing again.
BLACK COUNTRY – Near the 800m when over-racing, improved onto heels and had to be steadied.
BOSS BANDIT – Shortly after the start was tightened for room between runners and lost ground. Awkwardly placed on heels near the 700m when the pace of the race slackened.
BUGDEN – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Raced wide for the majority.
GREEN PARK – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
MISS ADRENALIN – Approaching the 1200m shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider. Trainer J De Boeck was advised a warning would be placed on the mare for its racing manners.
SNAKESKIN – Over-raced early.
TIME TO TURN – Raced wide for the majority.
Race 5:HUSTON MOTORS KUMBIA CUP / COUNTRY CUPS CHALLENGE QUALIFIER 1400m
SKYFORGER – Near the 500m, improved onto the heels of the weakening ROTHFURY having to be checked and shifted wider.
PESHWA – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
ROTHFURY – Approaching the 600m became awkward in its action and commenced to give ground rapidly. Upon entering the home straight, apprentice Wilson dismounted where the gelding broke lose before being recaptured a short time. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a catastrophic injury to the near fore carpus and as a result the gelding was euthanised on humane grounds. Post-mortem samples were taken for analysis.
PROOINGA – Was declared a late scratching at 3.44pm on veterinary advice after an examination revealed PROOINGA to be lame in the right foreleg. On the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all bets on placed on PROOINGA be refunded in full, with the following deductions to apply:
5c in the dollar for the win
6c in the dollar for the place of winner
6c in the dollar for 2nd place
6c in the dollar for 3rd place
Trainer G Schrader was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to PROOINGA racing again.
