Race 1: MITRE 10 MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres


FEAR NONE – Stood flat footed as the gates opened which caused it to be slow away, and then raced wide for the majority of the event.

SPITFIRE DRAGON – Reared as the gates opened which caused it to be slow away.

CROISSANTS – Travelled wide in the early stages of the event.

SALDANA – Jumped away awkwardly.

TUCKSHOP OPTIONS – Travelled wide rounding the home turn.


Race 2: GD & GM BROWNE SMASH REPAIRS QTIS CLASS 1 Handicap- 1000 metres

I’M MAKING A CLANG – Jumped inwards and made contact with an inside runner and travelled wide rounding the home turn.

NO INVOLVEMENT – Jumped inwards making contact with another runner, then travelled wide rounding the home turn.

DANROCKING – Hampered at the start by another runner which caused it to lose ground.

ELLE STYLE – Hampered at the start which caused it to be slow away.

Race 3: GORDON ‘POPEYE’ SAUNDERS MEMORIAL BM 70 HANCICAP- 1200 metres

LIGHT WARRIOR, BAILBONDS, SPECK OF GOLD and KEV’S DESTINY were late scratching as there were no jockeys available.

WIGPOOL – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

NO OTHER WAY – Shifted in at the 180m and tightened another runner.

DASHING DUNLOP – Was slow into stride and resented the dusty kickback.

HEART THROB – Travelled wide from the 600m.

BILLY JAY – Tightened at the 180m by another runner shifting ground.


Race 4: LONGREACH TYRE CENTRE CLASS B HANDICAP- 1300 metres


RICKSHAWTORAFFLES - Was slow away.

ARVAKUR – Was slow away.

VICE PRESIDENT – Was slow away and travelled wide from the 600m to the home turn.

GO SAI – Slow away and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

SWEENEY – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.


Race 5: RM WILLIAM / XXXX GOLD CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1600 metres

SECRETS – Raced keenly in the early stages and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

JOE BLOW – Over raced in the early stages.

REIGNING TO WIN – Was eased off heals at the 800m.

HELLUVA HURRY – Hung out rounding the home turn.

NEPTUNE EXPRESS – Travelled wide for the majority of the event and hung out rounding the home turn and down the straight.

SPIRIT OF MANY – Was slow away.
