Race 1: SUNCARE COMMUNITY SERVICES CLASS 3 PLATE - 1000 metres
ZAHA DREAM was a late scratching at 1:30pm due to no available rider.
HOT PLATE – Travelled wide in the early stages without cover.
STREAMS OF WHISKEY – Slow into stride.
I’M CHILLIN’ – Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
RIVERS END – Travelled wide for the majority.
ELLE STYLE – Travelled wide in the late stages.
I’M A CLANGER – Jumped outwards.
GO SAI – Hampered at the start, had to be restrained and lost ground.
Race 2: LONGREACH JOCKEY CLUB THANK YOU WORKERS 2015 BM HANDICAP - 1200 metres
YULETIDE and BILLY JAY were late scratching at 1:30pm due to no available riders.
HUGHIE AND ME – Travelled wide in the early stages.
MONTH OF SUNDAYS – Jumped awkwardly, laid in onto an inside runner. Leaving the 650m was eased and lost considerable ground when another runner was eased.
TIMMY’S TURN – Hindered at the start by an outside runner, then raced into restricted room at the 650m and had to be eased.
GHOST TRAIN – Over raced in the early stages of the event and had to be eased at the 90m when an outside runner shifted ground.
KEV’S DESTINY – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority.
HIDDEN CHIEF – Bumped HENNY’S HERO on jumping.
BUDDY ROCKS – Shifted in at the 90m tightening GHOST TRAIN. Jockey B. Richardson was fined $200 under AR 137A for use of her whip on more than 5 times prior to the 100m.
Race 3: LONGREACH JOCKEY CLUB THANK YOU SPONSORS & SUPPORTERS MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres
BROTHER RABBIT – Stood in the barrier and lost considerable ground on jumping.
DANCE TO INSPIRE – Was slow to begin and shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
NO MORE ISSUE – Travelled wide for the majority with any cover.
Race 4: PITMAN’S MECHANICAL OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres
HOLEY GADOLEY – Jumped outwards and made contact with SEAGAL.
SEAGAL – Bumped at the start, lost ground and raced ungenerously throughout. Jockey J. Geppert stated he thought the horse had come to the end of its preparation.
DARCEY – Reared, then blundered at the start and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the raced without cover.
CRYSTAL MATES – Travelled wide in the latter stages of the event to gain clear running.
Race 5:GALILEE BASIN HAULAGE & PLANT HIRE BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres
KANSKJE was a late scratching at 1:30pm due to no available rider.
LEO’S SPIRIT – Was slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority.
NEPTUNE EXPRESS – Slow to begin.
BOYS SPLURGE – Slow to begin.
NO INVOLVEMENT – Over raced in the early and middle stages.
