GENERAL
 
Due to the impending weather conditions the races were pushed through after the first race.
 
Due to the safety concerns from the jockeys and racing officials redarding the state of the track and low visibility, the races were abandoned after the third race.


 
Race 1: IN HONOUR OF LCPL C H FREEMAN CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres
 
MIND GAME – Hung in down the home straight, having to be straightened on serveral occassions. Upon returning to the mounting yard it was noted the gelding had bled from both nostrils. Trainer T. Schofield was advised of the mandatory 3 month restriction and the satisfacitory gallop of 1000m  in the presence of a steward prior to starting in any race.
 
LADY FEY – Contacted at the start.
 
NITT WHITT – Awkward to begin losing ground. Lay in down the home straight.
 
LUNA GLIDE – Jumped inwards contacting another runner.
 
MISSY EM – Galloped into restricted room leaving the 700m and had to be restrained off heels then resented the kickback and was taken wider on the track to avoid.
 
MY FIXATION – Knuckled at the start beginning awkwardly.
 
 
Race 2: ‘TWO UP’ @ LONGREACH RSL MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres 
 
PRIZED ARTIST – Jumped outwards contacting another runner.
 
REALLY REALLY GOOD – Slow to begin then contacted shortly after the start.
 
UNLEISHA – Resented the kickback when tailed off mid run then taken wider on the track to avoid.
 
OSAKA SUNSET – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 3: LONGREACH RSL ‘LEST WE FORGET’ BM 50 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
 
SET TO FIGHT – Contacted at the start.
 
BOUND TO ME – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
WILD ELEMENT – Jumped inwards contacting another runner.
 
PURPLE TRUMPET – Travelled wide for much of the race with cover.
 
MRS SENNA – Resented the kickback when couldn’t maintain contact with the main group then taken wider midrace to avoid the kickback.
 
 
Race 4: LONGREACH RSL DIGGERS CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres
