Race 1: Patron Bill Ware QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st – BEYOND LIMITS 2nd – EILEEN ANNIE 3rd – LIFE’S A PICNIC 4th – HEART OF TIER

HEART OF TIER – Lost ground when tightened between runners on jumping.

Race 2: Laura 10,000 Class 3 Plate 1000 metres:
1st – FIVE STARS 2nd – SNOW ROBIN 3rd – AIR OF HEAVEN 4th – TOXICITY

RIKKI DYNAMO – Reared on jumping and lost 5 lengths. Trainer Ms. L Ashford was advised that the gelding would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to being permitted to race again.

AIR OF HEAVEN – Was fractious in the barriers. Knuckled over on jumping and was crowded between runners soon after. Near the 800 metres was taken in by another runner which was racing ungenerously.

SLIP RAIL – Was racing ungenerously near the 800 metres causing tightening to runners to its inside, despite the efforts of Jockey S Wilson.

KING OF THEBES – Lost ground near the 800 metres when tightened by another runner which was racing ungenerously.

Race 3: Laura Bracelet Class B Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – DAZZLING LADY 2nd – HONEST FRIEND 3rd – SAGA’S PRINCESS 4th – FORTUNE MASCOT

I AM BRUSE – Was slowly away.

SAGA’S PRINCESS – Shifted in near the 900 metres, when not quite clear, causing tightening to runners to its inside. Jockey K Stone was issued with a reprimand for careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a).

TIPSY ROCKET – Was inconvenienced near the 900 metres by another runner which shifted in when not quite clear.

CRESCENT GLOW – Was inconvenienced near the 900 metres by another runner which shifted in when not quite clear.

SMALL CHANGE - Was inconvenienced near the 900 metres by another runner which shifted in when not quite clear.

DAZZLING LADY – Was inclined to lay in near the 400 metres causing tightening to another runner. App. A Thomson was nonetheless instructed to exercise more care under similar circumstances.

HONEST FRIEND – Was inconvenienced near the 400 metres by another runner which was inclined to lay in.

Race 4: Pioneer Cup Benchmark 65 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – MASTER DANNY 2nd – ROSE OF CLARE 3rd – STIEG 4th – NINETYNINE PERCENT

MASTER DANNY – Was inclined to shift in under pressure near the 100 metres inconveniencing runners to its inside. Jockey F Edwards was issued with a severe reprimand for careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a).

STIEG – Had to be restrained when taken across heels by another runner which was shifting in under pressure near the 100 metres.

NINETYNINE PERCENT – Was inconvenienced near the 100 metres due to another runner shifting in under pressure.

Race 5: Laura Cup Weight For Age 1450 metres:
1st – MIATA 2nd – WILL HE FLY 3rd – ZINDZELA 4th – SCHNELLES PFERD

WILL HE FLY – Was slowly into stride.

BLOWIN’ YOUR MIND - Was slowly into stride. App. A Thomson advised that the gelding had never travelled comfortably on the tight circuit and would be better suited over further ground.
