Race 1: QTIS PATRON BILL WARE MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
Kalelarga – Was examined pre-race behind the barriers after being kicked by another runner and was passed fit to start. Shifted in marginally near the 800m placing another runner in restricted room. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild soreness in the off hind leg.
Taquito Lass –  Slowly away.
Flaming Lamborgini – Slowly away.
Battle Mouintain – Inclined to shift away from the inside running rail near the 800m despite the efforts of Jockey Ms. B Thomson.
Golynda – Near the 800m was severely checked when awkwardly placed in restricted room between runners.
Race 2: SPONSORS RATINGS BAND 0-50 HANDICAP 1000m
What’s Rockin’ – Slowly away.
Yankee Roller – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
Park Hustler – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Poetic Pearl – Hung out rounding the home turn. Jockey S Pawsey reported that the filly had not been comfortable on the tight circuit. On returning to the enclosure it was found that the bit had gone through the filly’s mouth in running. Trainers representative Mr. P Rowe advised consideration would be given to a possible gear change prior to next race start.
Race 3 – LAURA 10,000 CLASS 3 PLATE 1000m
Yalanji – Slowly away. Had to be restrained off heels near the 500m.
Keen Instinct – Slowly away.
Guangzhou – Slowly away.
Flinders Highway – Became awkward when placed in restricted room between runners near the 500m losing ground.
Tecza – Shifted in near the 500m when in clear running making heavy contact with the running rail and then shifting out as a result. Restrained for a stride when another runner shifted in marginally approaching the winning post.
Scripts -  Shifted in near the 500m momentarily placing another runner in restricted room. Jockey Ms. B Thomson was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. Shifted in marginally when under pressure approaching the winning post. Jockey Ms. B Thomson was cautioned in relation to her use of the whip prior to the 100m.
Race 4 – LAURA BRACELET CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m
De Lady Deluxe – Fractious in the barrier. Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority.
Magic Glow – Fractious in the barrier. Slowly away.
Kalahari Pearl – Slowly away.
Drops of Jupiter – Jockey W D’avila reported the mare was never comfortable on the tight circuit.
Race 5 – PIONEER CUP CLASS 6 PLATE
First Stimulus – Slowly away.
Global Guru – Slowly away.
River Boy - Slowly away.
Presidential Joy – Raced wide for the majority.
Stewards intend to inquire into an incident which took place during the running of this event whereby a member of the public entered onto the course proper near the 100m, as the field rounded the home turn, and ran from that point for the remainder of the home straight. The person in question was apprehended and identified by Police Officers and will be required to appear before Stewards at a date and time to be fixed.
Race 6 – LAURA CUP 1450m
Due to a misunderstanding at the time of Jockey Declarations Jockey B Swaffer was engaged to ride Great Pretender. Jockey Swaffer advised Stewards on arrival prior to the commencement of the race meeting that he would be unable to ride the gelding at its allotted weight and was subsequently replaced by Jockey M Elliott.  In the circumstances Stewards took no action other than to remind Jockey Swaffer of his responsibilities under the provisions of AR190(3).
Backtospec – Began awkwardly losing ground. Raced ungenerously for some distance in the middle stages.
Island Bar – Slowly away.
Try Before Dubai – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
Makarios – Had to be restrained off heels near the 1300m. Shifted out and bumped with another runner near the 1200m.
Ramsden Street – Became unbalanced when bumped by another runner near the 1200m.
