Race 1: Bebe Mellick Memorial Benchmark 60 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – BEARIZAN 2nd – DIVA DIOR 3rd – SIGNIFICANT CHOICE 4th – JACSAID

PUDZIANOWSKI – Late withdrawal due to no rider being available.

SWEET ASA ROSE – Lost ground when tightened between runners on jumping. Inconvenienced by another runner which shifted in under pressure passing the 300 metres.

BEARIZAN – Shifted in under pressure passing the 300 metres. Rider S Wilson told to exercise more care.

Race 2: Piccones Shopping Village QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st – JUMBO RUMBO 2nd – TURN UP THE VOLUME 3rd – FAVOURED ONE 4th – LADY’S GATHERING

FIVE STARS – Late withdrawal due to no rider being available.

COW BAY – Vetted pre-race, due to long absence from competition, and passed fit to start. Bumped with another runner on jumping.

AGUABLANCA – Raced ungenerously in the early stages.

PINK BARBIE – Fractious in the barriers. Jumped awkwardly, bumping with another runner. Commenced to lose ground from the 700 metres. Post-race vet examination revealed the filly to be shin sore. Trainer Ms. L Boarin advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to next start.

Race 3: Airfirst Benchmark 70 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – CHATEAU DETTORI 2nd – EREBUS 3rd – STORM IN A RAINBOW 4th – HARVEY THE RABBIT

HARVEY THE RABBIT – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

CHATEAU DETTORI – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Race 4: Vic Beitzel Memorial Maiden Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – OUT OF THE BLUE 2nd – MONASHEE LASS 3rd – ZARIZMA 4th – CHRISTMAS VAMPIRE
