GENERAL
The start of the meeting was delayed to enable club officials time to perform remedial work on sections of the track that were deemed unsafe due to the inclement weather.

Race 1: L Steep Earthmoving Benchmark 55 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – GYPSY SECRET 2nd – JEDDA’S GIRL 3rd – MISS HAFFA 4th – PERFECT RAINBOW

GYPSY SECRET – Passing the 200m shifted out and made contact with another runner.

JEDDA’S GIRL – Passing the 200m was bumped by another runner.

Race 2: Flexihire Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st –THE TEENY HASS 2nd – ZATOCHIO 3rd – MISS RALPHIE 4th – GREEN BANANAS

THE TEENY HASS – Knuckled on jumping.

Race 3: Claytons Cup Community Fundraising Open Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – AERIAL PING PONG 2nd – SIALIA MAGIC 3rd – MONTANUS 4th – STAR TRUCE

SCHOORWIN – Crowded at the start.

Rounding the turn near the 800m MONTANUS shifted in away from SCHOORWIN and crowded PAYTEEVEE which had to be checked.

Following the running of this race approximately 10mls of rain fell in a storm, resulting in surface water being present on numerous sections of the track. After consulting with senior riders and club officials the remaining two races were abandoned.
