Race 1: Isaac Regional Council Class B Handicap- 1000 metres

SON OF A WARRIOR- Explanation of late declaration of rider was accepted. Delayed the start when difficult during its preliminary.

BENJI- Slow into stride and then hampered when another runner jumped out.

SMALL CHANGE- In the straight, hung in. Near winning post, shifted in and away from another runner and become unbalanced.

CUBAN SONG- Slow to begin, raced wide without cover throughout.

NO IFS OR BUTS- Approaching winning post, rider dropped near side rein.

MANDALONG PASS- Raced wide without cover throughout.

RAPID COMMAND- A post-race veterinary inspection revealed the gelding to have bowed both front tendons. Trainer stated the horse would now be retired. In the event, the horse was to return to racing, a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required.

Race 2: Middlemount Coal BM 65 Handicap- 1000 metres

MRS ASIA- Scratched with veterinary certificate when sore in its off foreleg.

OVER THE CHOICE- Raced wide without cover throughout.

EMPEROR- Slow to begin, hampered when another runner taken in.

OUR FLAIR- A. Lawrence was the declared rider. Taken in when another runner jumped in.

DANA DANCER- Jumped in at the start. Raced wide without cover throughout.

Race 3: Civeo Rosebowl QTIS Maiden Plate- 1000 metres

HAYYLER’S AFFAIR- Slow to begin and made slight contact with outside runner.

VIOLET’S DRAFT- Slow to begin. Raced ungenerously in the early stages.

MIDDLEMOUNT MURPHY- Slow into stride, raced wide in the middle stages.

ROUGH AND RECKLESS- Reared prior to the start.

DOERAYME DRAGON- Apprentice reprimanded when only able to claim 1 1/2kg of his 2kg. Stewards were mindful of his exemplary record in weight related matters.

LUNAR COMMAND- Difficult to load.

DOOM CITY DRAGON- Raced wide without cover throughout.

THANK YOU- Raced wide without cover throughout.

Race 4: Anglo American Middlemount Cup Open Handicap - 1200 metres

BESEECH- Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.

AERIAL PING PONG- Raced wide without cover throughout.
TERMS OF TRADE- Raced wide without cover throughout.

MONBAZILLAC- When standing awkwardly in the barrier, was slow to begin. A post-race veterinary inspection did not revealed any abnormalities.

Race 5: Graeme Acton Memorial BM 55 Handicap- 1200 metres

MONTANA HERO- T. O’Hara was the late declared rider, explanation was accepted.

MUGMARINO- Raced wide without cover throughout.

EXCELLENT STYLE- Raced wide without cover throughout.

INTRUDING- Raced wide throughout.

BUCASIA BEACH- Near 800 metres, eased momentarily when another runner rolled in.
