GENERAL
 
PLENTY OF TICKER, ISIS JECTALE, PAPILIO, NIKSICKO, GEOFFROY, BARBICAN and GETOUT OF MY NEIGH (NZ) were all Pre-Race Vet Examined prior to starting due to competing in the past 7 days and were passed fit to start.  
 
RACE 1 CENTURION CLASS B HANDICAP 1000M
 
The start of Race 1 was delayed due to an error with the Photo Finish Equipment. After the delay, the Equipment was re-assessed and was operational before the commencement of Race 1.
 
FLASH HOMBRE – Prior to jumping, became fractious in the barriers.
 
CHEYENNE BEACH – Raced wide throughout. Laid in slightly down the home straight.
 
ROSETTES – Began awkwardly, jumping in onto MISHANI MORTAL.
 
VIKING CLAP – Jockey D. Simmons was granted permission from stewards to ride gelding 0.5kg overweight as there were no other available riders. Slow to begin. Approaching the 400m, elected to shift to the outside of PLENTY OF TICKER to obtain clear running. In the vicinity of the 300m, had to be restrained to avoid the heels of PLENTY OF TICKER which shifted out when insufficiently clear. Apprentice Jockey E. Bell (PLENTY OF TICKER) was issued with a severe reprimand for careless riding under AR131(a).
 
BOOTYFUL DIVA – Raced wide throughout.
 
MISHANI MORTAL – Was hampered on jumping by ROSETTES, and as a result was slow to begin.
 
PLENTY OF TICKER – Jumped away awkwardly. Approaching the 300m, shifted out onto VIKING CLAP which had to check to avoid heels.
 
BEGS BELIEF – Was declared a late scratching at 8:13am due to no available rider.
 
RACE 2 MACMAHON CONTRACTORS PTY LTD BENCHMARK 65 1000M
 
TABATHA MISS – Was declared a late scratching at 1:18pm after refusing to load. Deductions applicable to bets placed on the winner and placegetters prior to 1:18pm were as following: 
Win Bets - 37 cents
Place Bets - 31 cents
All monies bet after the Stewards' declaration of withdrawal to be paid at face value of ticket.
Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that TABATHA MISS would be required to gain a further barrier certificate.


BELZU – Prior to jumping, became fractious in the barriers.
 
ISIS JECTALE – Approaching the 150m, Apprentice Jockey T. Fenlon dropped her whip, disallowing the mare to be fully tested over the concluding stages.
 
GODFATHER’S GIFT – Raced wide throughout.
 
HOLLYWOOD DREAMING – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout. Laid in down the home straight.
 
SFLIZA – Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
RACE 3 ISAAC REGIONAL COUNCIL MAIDEN PLATE 2YO & UP Set Weights 1200M
 
The start of Race 3 was delayed due to an error with the Photo Finish Equipment. After the delay, the Equipment was assessed and was operational before the commencement of Race 3.
 
MAN ONA MISSION – Was declared a late scratching at 8:13am due to no available rider.
 
BERNIE BEEL – Slow to begin.
 
BEYOND REPROACH – Slow to begin. Jockey A. Spinks was suspended for a period of 12 days, to commence midnight the 31/07/2021 to midnight the 12/08/2021 for using his whip on seven (7) occasions, 2 more than permitted, prior to the 100m pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(ii). Stewards took into consideration this was Jockey Spinks’ fourteenth breach of the respective rule.
 
ARTEMIS GIRL – Hampered on jumping. Raced wide throughout.
 
MAHKOTA ROSE – Was declared a late scratching at 8:13am due to no available rider.
 
IMPULSIVE FLIGHT – Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 4 THANK YOU COMMITTEE AND VOLUNTEERS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200M
 
MISHANI PATRIOT – Overraced in the early stages. Laid out in the concluding stages.
 
ISIS TURBO – Slow to begin. In the vicinity of the 900m, became awkwardly placed on the heels of NIKSICKO.
 
MISHANI DUDE – Laid in approaching the 900m.
 
MISHANI PHAROAH – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
ROCKET TO GLASGOW – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

BIG GIFT – Hampered on jumping. Raced wide throughout. Laid in down the home straight.
 
CHERBALENA – Was declared a late scratching at 8:13am due to no available rider.
 
RACE 5 H.D. MINING – GRAEME ACTON MEMORIAL RATINGS BAND 0 – 55 HANDICAP 1475M
 
FIRESTONE – Laid in down the home straight.A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right-fore fetlock. Trainer K. Miller was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to its next future race start.
 
MISHANI FORTUNE – Jockey D. Simmons was granted permission from stewards to ride gelding 1kg overweight as there were no other available riders. Failed to muster early speed.
 
LETS TORQUE A DEEL – Slow to begin.
 
NO MORE BIDS – Slow to begin.
 
RACE 6 ANGLOAMERICAN MIDDLEMOUNT CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1475M
 

Following the running of race 6 stewards were advised that an error had occurred with the photo finish equipment capturing a photo. As there was no objection to the judge’s placings across the line, acting under AR214(4) correct weight was declared.
