White were to position the horse where comfortable given the anticipated pace and strength of today’s event. Leading up to today’s race he advised he had altered its training and the horse had not been galloped between starts. He further stated at its previous start it had raced in a handy position, and given the soft track conditions today believed it was suitable.  Stewards noted the explanation.
