A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer J. Mr Manzelmann was nevertheless advised that a warning would be placed on the horse’s parading manners and its poor performance.

Manzelmann was granted permission to have the horse race without that piece of gear. A pre-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality. This was subsequently broadcast via media outlets.
