RACE 4: FEGAN ELECTRICAL OPEN HANDICAP 1200 M

OUTBACK ACTION – slow into stride.
JOURNALISM – very slow into stride and then lost contact with the field shortly after and was distanced at the finish. When questioned, rider Jackson Murphy stated that after being slow into stride and losing ground, the gelding had then felt indifferent in its actions when he attempted to recover the ground lost, and in consequence he did not persist thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination of JOURNALISM revealed no obvious abnormality. Given JOURNALISM’s previous clear record, a warning was placed on its racing performance.
FINE SHOT – slow into stride.
