GENERAL

The following overweight was approved by stewards:
Race 5 - Raul Silvera Olivera +1kg

Trainer Ian Prizeman was fined $100 under LR67(1) for failing to declare riders on SVINDAL and SPITZBERG by the prescribed time.

The following runners were examined by the veterinarian after competing in the preceding 7 days and were cleared to start:
Race 1 – BETTY BOOM
Race 5 – MISTERKIPCHOGE (NZ) & REMLAP KAVA
Race 6 – SVINDAL
Race 7 – SPITZBERG

Due to trainer Kevin Miller advising stewards of mechanical issues with his transport vehicle, an extension was granted for the arrival time of his runners, as well as those of trainer Tim Cook, who were being transported in the same vehicle. In making this decision, stewards considered that all race start times had been brought forward (Race 7 – 27 minutes) with minimal notice provided. Upon arrival at the track, all runners were examined by the veterinarian and were cleared to start.
