Race 1: L M Engineering QTIS Maiden Plate 900 metres:
1st – SUPREME ROCKET 2nd – PACEMAKER 3rd – RAPON NICCI 4th – LADY’S GATHERING

GABONIA – Slow to begin.

M Abe the rider of PACEMAKER pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR137(a) in that passing the 700m he allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of RAPON NICCI which was checked and lost its rightful running and that he allowed his mount to shift in further when not clear of LADY’S GATHERING which had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of PACEMAKER. M Abe was suspended from riding in races for a period covered by 2 NQ meetings, to commence at midnight, 3 January and to expire at midnight, 9 January.

PACEMAKER – A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have been galloped on on the off hind leg and to be acutely lame. Trainer Mr J Manzelmann was told that prior to racing again a veterinary certificate of fitness must be produced.

Race 2: Happy 60th Birthday Alan Pateman Class B Handicap 1010 metres:
1st – ALPINE GOLD 2nd – JOKES ASEIDE 3rd – DADON 4th – TOP SHELF SHUFFLE

MOCKBA – Missed the start 3L.

MISHANI PAGAN – Was slow to muster speed in the early stages.

ALPINE GOLD – Hung out in the straight and ran very wide on the track.

Race 3: Travel Experience.com Class B Handicap 1500 metres:
1st – RICHIE ROCKET 2nd – HILTON MISS 3rd – PENTHOUSE POPPY 4th – ROUND THE CORNER

DIVIDED – Refused to load into the barriers and was a late withdrawal at 2:47pm. Subsequently when correct weight was declared stewards ordered that all bets place on DIVIDED be refunded in full and all other successful bets placed on the race prior to 2:47pm be subject to the deductions of 8c win and 9c place on the face value of the betting ticket. Trainer Mr A Molino representing G Horner was told that a warning would be placed on the gelding and should it perform similarly in the future it would be placed in barrier trials to rectify its manners.

SAVAGE LAND – Began awkwardly.

Race 4: Brenton Langley Plumbing Benchmark 60 Handicap 1210 metres:
1st – PRESS PLAY 2nd – SECRET ORDERS 3rd – MISHANI TROY 4th – DECISIVE ACTION

DECISIVE ACTION – Raced 3 wide throughout.

Race 5: D. Cosentino & S. Coldenos Benchmark 70 Handicap 1010 metres:
1st – MASTER DANNY 2nd – ROAD FOX 3rd – ARONSON 4th – BESIEGED

ROAD FOX – Knuckled shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the middle stages and had to be continually steadied away from the heels of runners in front.

MR BULLISTA – Raced wide throughout.
