NORTHERN STORM – Raced wide rounding the 1200m turn.
RAGE WITHIN - Raced wide rounding the 1200m turn.
DREAMWARD BOUND – Raced wide from the 600m to the home turn.
DUMFRIES – Having first start in this area. Tailed field most of the way and raced wide rounding the home turn.
NOVEMBER GREY - Raced below market expectations. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in near fore leg. Trainer G Tipping was advised that he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness before the gelding can again start in a race.
Race 2: LEONIE WINKS PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
SHOO FLY SHOO- Knuckled on jumping losing ground. Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
OUTBACK ANDY – Slow into stride.
MESSINES ROSE - Raced wide rounding the 400m turn.
Race 3: COLONIAL FOOD STORE CLASS 3 PLATE 1000m
RAPID QUALO – Rider S Galvin advised the saddle slipped soon after the start causing him considerable inconvenience.
APERATURE - Raced wide for the majority.
TRESSLES – Raced wide for the majority.
Race 4: MT ISA AGRICULTURAL SHOW SOCIETY CUP PREVIEW OPEN HANDICAP 1700m
CHOCOLATE BOLT – Raced below market expectations. Rider S McGovern advised that after starting from an outside barrier he elected to ease back to avoid being caught wide in the early stages, however the gelding had never travelled comfortably at any stage, and may have resented the kickback, despite making up some ground over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities.

CHESTNUT ROAD - Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
Race 5: THANKS TO LENORE SAUNDERS & SHARON CROSSLAND OPEN HANDICAP 1100m
FORTZA – Reluctant to load. Trainer J Bawden was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
REGAL CONSERVE – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
TRAVEL IN STYLE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 6: WELCOME BABY BURGO RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP 1200m
Stewards, acting on veterinary advice ordered the late withdrawal of LASTING IMAGE at 4.35pm after the gelding was found to be lame to the off fore leg. Trainer J Bawden was advised that he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness before the gelding can again start in a race.
MOSPORT – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
MR ROCKARD – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
THE GIRLS IN PARIS – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
VEGANER - Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
SNAZZY SOX – Raced wide for the majority.
