Race 1 –DOWNRIGHT CARPENTRY MAIDEN PLATE - (1000 M)  
 
MR PALOMINO - Dislodged rider at barriers and galloped back to stable area. Was scratched by order of Stewards. Trainer S. Seymour, was advised by Stewards that the gelding must successfully complete a barrier jump out prior to starting again.
 
STARKIN – Unable to be loaded into the barriers and was scratched by order of Stewards. Trainer S. Gabriel Royes was advised by Stewards that gelding must successfully complete two (2) barrier jump out prior to starting again.
 
Following the scratching’s of MR PALOMINO and STARKIN Stewards ordered that all monies invested on these two horses were to be refunded and a combined deduction of Fourteen (14) cents in the dollar on all successful win bets and Nineteen (19) cents in the dollar on all successful place bets were to apply. 
 
FLOSSY raced wide rounding the 600m turn. 
 
Race 2 -  CAVA HYDRAULICS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP - (1000M)
 
SPLIT THE ATOM – Slow into stride.  Raced wide for the majority of the race.   
 
TALLYMAN – Slow into stride and raced very wide rounding 600m turn.  Finished distant last.  Trainer interviewed and advised gelding was returning from a let up and this was its first start in  this area and did not appreciate the sand throwback.  A Post race veterinary examination suggested the gelding would benefit from todays race.  
 
MOVING TARGET – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn. 
 
HUNTING - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
 
Race 3 – TREVOR MORRIS BUILDERS RATING BAND 0 -65 HANDICAP - (1000M) 
 
TEMPESTA ROSSA – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn. 
 
BEAU BINGLE – Raced wide  for the majority of the race. 
 
DUTCH TWIST – Hung out most of the way.  Trainer interviewed and advised that the mare does not appreciate the sand throw back. 
 
 
Race 4 - BIG ‘G’ TURNS 40 OPEN PLATE (1100M)
 
SENSEOFWONDER NZ) - Restless in barriers prior to the start.  Jumped outwards contacting with another runner.  Raced wide rounding the 600m turn and rider advised he elected to race in that position to avoid the kickback.       
 
ENGINE FIFTY FIVE – Contacted by another runner on jumping.      
 
 
Race 5 – STEEJO PRESS BENCHMARK 60 Handicap.  .  (1200 Metres)
 
ZUMARI – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
 
SUGAR RAY RED - Raced wide rounding the 600m turn. Approaching the 100 metres raced in restricted room when runner to inside and in front shifted outwards briefly under pressure and at the time there was a runner to the outside.   
 
ALBA GU BRATH – Shifted wider on the track rounding the home turn. 
 
LORD WINDERMERE - Near the 100m shifted outwards when under pressure and rider stopped riding and straightened his mount.  Stewards advised rider D. Ballard to exercise more care in the future.
