Race 1: STEEJO BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 1450M
 
ALBERT THE ROCKET – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride.
 
SHORT TERM – Slow to begin.
 
SKIPPER’S CALL – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
RAPTOR – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BOLD SAM – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow post-race recovery. Trainer J. Babarovich advised stewards it is now his intention that the gelding be sent for immediate spell.    
 
Race 2: CONGRATS DAN BALLARD PREMIER JOCKEY BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 1000M
 
LORD WINDERMERE – Laid in near the 900m despite the efforts if its rider tightening runners to its inside.
 
OUR HUSSLER – Tightened for room near the 900m and shifted in bumping another runner on the hindquarters having to be restrained and lose ground. Shifted wider leaving the 800m and raced wide from that point onwards.  
WORLD OF PAIN – Bumped on the hindquarters near the 900m and became unbalanced.
 
ANSINNA - Shifted wider leaving the 700m and raced wide from that point onwards.
 
SPLIT THE ATOM – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BRAVE JEWEL – Raced wide for the majority of the race.   
 
Race 3: CONGRATS TANYA PARRY PREMIER TRAINER QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1100M
 
REASON FOR TREASON – Shifted outwards on jumping tightening the runner to its outside.
 
McKEEGAN – Tightened for room on jumping.
 
FIRST RAIN – After beginning well was then unable to muster any early speed.
 
Race 4: CONGRATS WILL SHE APPEAL PREMIER HORSE CLASS 2 PLATE – 1200M
 
ECHELON ROSE – Slow to begin.
 
MAKATITI – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 5: SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR OPEN H’CAP – 1200M
 
The start of this race was brought forward due to a pending thunderstorm.  
 
EXPLOSIVE MISSLIE – Slow to begin.
 
TRY ‘N’ RUN A MUCK – Blundered on jumping.
