STARKIN – Reared as the gates opened losing ground. Raced very wide rounding the home turn, rider advised that in his opinion the gelding had not handled the track conditions.
SIRIUS WITNESS - Jumped awkwardly and raced wide rounding the home turn.
BOY IN A MILLION - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 2. HALLS FIRE ARMS/PRAIRIE HOTEL/HUGHENDEN SPAR S'MARKET BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1000m
SHADOWLESS - The gelding which was resuming after a prolonged absence from racing was examined pre-race by the Veterinarian and passed fit to start. Slowly into stride. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
KWANZA - Threw its head in the air on jumping and lost ground. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 3. MAGIC MILLIONS/DR CATHY RETO CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m
SAGRE’S POINT – Slowly away.
AZTEC WARRIOR - Jumped awkwardly. Raced wide in the middle stages.
SERIOUSLY HAPPY – Raced wide in the middle stages.
SHADEA LADY - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 4. COLEMANS STOCKFEED/RINGROSE & BUTTON/BUSBY HOUSE REMOVAL RB 0-50 HANDICAP 1400m
SMOKING LADY – Jumped outwards at the start bumping with another runner. Raced wide rounding the 1000m turn.
HE’S TERRYFIED – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide in the middle stages.
CRYSTAL BEAR - Raced wide rounding the 1000m turn.
ZUMARI (IRE) - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 5. REDDIE EARTHMOVING PRAIRIE CUP BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1400m
SKIFIELD – Jumped awkwardly losing ground. Raced wide in the middle stages.
ALLUDER - Raced wide rounding the 1200m turn
HOT TEMPO - Raced wide rounding the home turn. Passing the winning post shifted inwards tightening another runner. Rider Ms. N Nelson was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
