RACE 1: HAMMER EARTHMOVING & CO QTIS Maiden Plate 3YO & Up 1200M

WHISKEY DRY – Raced three wide throughout.

FRENCH RECIPE – Raced very wide throughout. Rider W D’Avila reported that the mare, which was having its first race start, failed to handle the dust kickback.

PRONTO PERCY – Slow to begin, then ridden forward to lead. Apprentice M Goring was questioned regarding the riding tactics he adopted in the middle stages. He advised that after missing the start he allowed PRONTO PERCY to stride forward and the mare raced keenly thereafter before tiring from the 250 metres onwards. He believed that the mare which was having its first race start since 2 May 2026 will gain improvement from today’s performance. His explanation was noted for future. Apprentice M Goring received bruising to the right foot and toes on dismounting after being stood on by PRONTO PERCY.

EXO MISS – Rider J. Babarovich reported that the filly failed to handle the dust kickback.

ELIE JOE – Rider J. Babarovich when questioned regarding the disappointing performance reported that the gelding had raced off the bit throughout and failed to run on.

WHOLELOTTALOVE – Bumped on jumping.

RACE 4: COLEMANS STOCKFEED RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP 1400M

Due to a regional power failure, the photo finish was not operational and the race placings were declared manually by the judge.

CRYPTOLOGY – Bumped with WOLF POINT on jumping. Momentarily shifted in at the 1200 metres.

PANDA DRUM – After jumping from the 1400 metre starting chute, the gelding momentarily got inside of the line of the running rail at the 1300 metres when progressing onto the course proper. Eased when tightened for room passing the 1200 metres. It was established that Cryptology and AZCONPETE had both shifted inwards marginally at that point causing a tightening to PANDA DRUM which had to be steadied.

SWEETPEA MOOCHI – Raced wide throughout.

INSTIGATE – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

WOLF POINT – Collided with CRYPTOLOGY at the start.

AZCONPETE – Impacted the starting gate when being loaded and was inspected by the Club Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to start. Shifted inwards marginally at 1200 metres.
