General
Due to a predicted sultry weather conditions this race meeting was conducted within the provisions of the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission Caring for Racing Animals in Extreme Heat Policy. 
 
Race 1: SPAR BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1000m
 
BORN TO FIRE - Slow to begin.
 
ENCORONADA - Raced wide for the majority.
 
WORLD OF PAIN - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 2: GOLDEN RUN RURAL BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1200m 
 
BELIEVE IT OR NOT – Shifted in on jumping and hampered runners to its inside. Raced wide in the middle stages. 
 
ADMIRAL RUFF - Hampered by another runner on jumping. 
 
INNER SILENCE - Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
GOING GREY – Was held up for clear running passing the 200m.
 
CAPTAIN’S PICK - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
SUGAR RAY RED - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 3 - WHARTON AND CO QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
 Due to a clerical  error MY MIND IS MADEUP, NITRO CITY and BOY IN A MILLION all started from incorrect barriers. This was brought to the attention of Starter Mr. D. Jones. As Stewards were satisfied that the incident had no bearing on the finishing position of any runner correct weight was declared on the semaphored numbers.
 
MY MIND IS MADE UP - Reared as gates opened losing some ground.
 
SCOTTABEE - Jumped inwards inconveniencing another runner.
 
MR PALOMINO - Bumped by another runner on jumping losing some ground.
 
FRIGHTENING DELAGO - Raced ungenerously in early the stages due to resenting the kickback in running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. 
 
NITRO CITY – Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
OUTLAW JACK - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 

Race 4 - RICHMOND LIVESTOCK TRANSPORT CLASS 2 PLATE 1400m           
 
DENLAGO - Fractious in the barriers. 
 
HIDONAL - Slow to begin. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
TOUCAN - Raced wide for the majority.  
 
DO I HAVE TO - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
BROOKLANDS – A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of a poor post-race recovery.  
 
Race 5 - FOX HELICOPTERS SERVICES OPEN HANDICAP 1400m
