Race 1: RJC Life Member- Mr W (Bill) Ouston QTIS 3YO Handicap - 1200 metres
1st OUR NEDDY BOY 2nd JEWEL BANGLES 3rd CLAPPERS 4th - MACHO TYCOON

OUR NEDDY BOY - Proved difficult to load into the barriers. A warning will be placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Began awkwardly.

JEWEL BANGLES - Difficult to load into the barriers. A warning will be placed on the filly's barrier manners.

LOVE THE BUSH - Began awkwardly and made contact with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the filly had sustained superficial lacerations to both hind bumpers.

WAFFLE - Slow into stride.

FOOLISH THOUGHT - Began awkwardly.

CLAPPERS - Hung out in the middle stages.

Race 2: RJC Life Member- Mr Jim Mason BM 75 Handicap - 1500 metres
1st SMART PATROL 2nd BAQABA 3rd MYTHOLOGIST 4th - RADIANT JOY

LIBERTY'S MAGIC - Slow into stride.

Race 3: XXXX Gold Maiden Plate - 1300 metres
1st JUST CALL ME LOUIE 2nd TOP MANNER 3rd IF IN DOUBT 4th - BREATH OF TERA

SEIDE TRACK - The start was delayed when the gelding broke through and escaped riderless. The gelding was returned behind the barriers where it was examined by the veterinary surgeon which revealed that the gelding had blood in its nostril and mouth. Acting on her advice, stewards ordered the withdrawal of the gelding at 2.52 p.m. Subsequently they ordered that all bets made on the gelding be refunded in full and that the following deductions apply:

1 ¢ in the dollar for the win for the winner, JUST CALL ME LOUIE
2 ¢ in the dollar for the place for the winner, JUST CALL ME LOUIE
3 ¢ in the dollar for the place for 2nd, TOP MANNER
2 ¢ in the dollar for the place for 3rd, IF IN DOUBT

BREATH OF TERA - Took a number of awkward strides shortly after the start. A warning will be placed on the filly's racing manners.

MAXADRAMA - Dipped on jumping then was buffeted between runners shortly after the start.

CATCH A GLIMPSE - Near the 1200 metres appeared to clip the heels of another runner and lost some ground.

BREWING MAGIC - Began a little awkwardly and made contact with another runner.

CRAIGLEA COPPER - Contacted by another runner at the start. Raced wide throughout.

TREMONT - Slow to begin. Commenced to lay in, clipped heels of another runner and blundered. Inclined to lay in throughout, and when placed under pressure in the early part of the home straight continued to lay in and brushed the running rail. Trainer reported the gelding had pulled up well and no lameness was evident. He would add a one cup Blinker to its gear for its next start. Jockey R. McMahon was fined $200 under A.R. 137A for using his whip in a forehand manner 10 times prior to the 100 metres, once consecutively.

TAJETTE - Slow to begin. Upon returning to scale it was noted that the gelding had blood in the off side of its mouth.

IF IN DOUBT - Raced wide throughout.

COSTA BUNDLE - Raced wide throughout. In an incident shortly after the start shifted out marginally, resulting in TREMONT, which was inclined to hang in, clipping the heels of COSTA A BUNDLE, dipping and blundering. App.Krogh was reprimanded.

Race 4: Hahn 3.5 Fillies and Mares Class 1 Handicap - 1050 metres
1st OUR LADY MAC 2nd PRIMED FOR DESTINY 3rd AVELLINO 4th -

PASSAPAROLE - Upon arriving behind the barriers was examined by the veterinary surgeon, who said that the filly had a cut to the offside of its mouth that had ceased bleeding, and was fit to take its place in the field.

DORSAL FIN - Little slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.

TIME TO SPARE - Was fractious in the barriers and began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Leaving the 900 metres when over-racing laid out and caused another runner to steady to avoid its heels.

OUR LADY MAC - Near the 400 metres lay in onto the heels of another runner.

NAVAL BELLE - Began awkwardly, lay out and raced erratically in the middle stages.

PRIMED FOR DESTINY - Forced to steady leaving the 900 metres.

AVELLINO - Held up for clear running in the early part of the straight until near the 400 metres. Rider dropped his whip at the 400 metres.

CAMDEN QUEEN - Stewards accepted the reason tendered for the dual engagement of Jockey C. McIver. Jockey J. Lait was substituted as the rider for CAMDEN QUEEN.

Race 5: Toohey’s Extra Dry Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 1 Handicap - 1050 metres
1st COURT CLOWN 2nd LAKE ARGYLE 3rd ROAR ABLIBERTY 4th - OUTBACK SAPPER

COURT CLOWN - Stewards accepted the reason tendered for the late declaration of Jockey J. P. Stanley as the rider.

SUPPOSING - Began awkwardly.

GHANA - Shifted out at the start. Raced wide throughout. When questioned regarding the performance Jockey A. Coome stated that the gelding raced flat and in his opinion may have come to the end of its preparation. Stewards will seek comment from trainer L. Rowe.

ELJAY ATOM - Shortly after the start the offside iron leather on the gelding broke, placing its rider in difficulty, near the 600 metres he removed his foot from the nearside iron and at the 450 metres shifted out wider on the track and eased his mount out of the event.

MYSTIC LAD - Raced wide throughout.

Race 6: Hahn Premium Light Class 3 Handicap - 1200 metres
1st POWER RANGER 2nd BORN TO SURVIVE 3rd DIAMONEEZE 4th - SUTTON LUKE

LASTING IMAGE - Slow to begin. Shifted out and bumped another runner near 200 metres

CHERISHTHETHOUGHT - Began awkwardly and made contact with another runner.

FAST FOCUS - Raced keenly in the early stages.

BORN TO SURVIVE - Near the 700 metres bumped another runner.

ALOTTA MOJO - Bumped by another runner near the 700 metres, became unbalanced and made contact with BORN TO SURVIVE (App. R. Payne), which was turned inwards, causing ALOTTO MOJO to be further tightened for room, to over-react and lose ground. In the incident App. Payne steadied her mount to relive the pressure, Jockey J. P. Stanley eased CHERISHTHETHOUGHT and shifted out, and App. Q. Krogh, the rider of DIAMONEEZE, had to shift ground to avoid the heels of CHERISHTHETHOUGHT. A post-race veterinary examination of ALOTTA MOJO did not reveal any abnormalities.

SUTTON LUKE - Near the 200 metres was bumped by another runner.

PRECIOUS LILLY - After arriving behind the barriers underwent a veterinary examination, at the request of the rider, and was cleared to take its place in the field.
