Race 1: TERRY MOLLOY MEMORIAL / SWANWICK MURRAY ROCHE LAWYERS Maiden Handicap 1500 metres
 
ADAM’S APPLE – Raced in restricted room momentarily near the 600 metres when SUPER ROOSTER shifted out marginally. Jockey N Day (the rider of SUPER ROOSTER) was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances.
 
BABYDAZE – Near the 200 metres was steadied momentarily from heels when TAHLIA GOLD laid in despite the best efforts of its rider.
 
MUMBO BOWLER – Bumped on jumping. Raced keenly whilst being restrained in the early stages. Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight before shifting out to obtain clear running near the 200 metres and consequently forcing SUPER ROOSTER wider on the track.
 
SUPER ROOSTER – Began awkwardly and made contact with MUMBO BOWLER on jumping. Raced keenly whilst being restrained in the early stages. Held up in the early part of the home straight and shifted out to obtain clear running near the 450 metres. Forced wider on the track near the 200 metres.
 
TAHLIA GOLD – Began awkwardly. Inclined to lay in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: MSP PHOTOGRAPHY Maiden Handicap 1200 metres
 
WONDERFUL THOUGHT – Began awkwardly. Leaving the 200 metres, had to be steadied momentarily from the heels of LIVERPOOL GAL. App. M Philpot (the rider of LIVERPOOL GAL) was advised to exercise greater care in the circumstances.
 
LIVERPOOL GAL – Raced keenly throughout. Shifted out when placed under pressure from the 200 metres.
 
PIERROTTI – Raced wide in the early stages before obtaining a position outside the leader near the 900 metres. Laid out when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
MENSCHKEIT – Stewards questioned Trainer B Crear in relation to the seemingly improved performance. Trainer Crear advised Stewards that the gelding had suffered knee problems as a juvenile and since coming to his stable had trialed well after recently returning from a twelve month spell. He further added that he expected a better showing  performance in today’s event however was surprised that the gelding had won. Stewards noted Mr Crear’s explanation.
 
SETHALNS – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Held up for a short distance approaching and rounding the home turn.
 
INFORMER – Trainer G Richardson advised Stewards that the mare had cast both hind plates enroute to the track. Stewards permitted the mare to race bare behind.Was inspected by the veterinarian behind the barriers and cleared to take its place in the field. Raced keenly in the early stages.When questioned in relation to the below market expectation performance of the mare, Jockey Sewell advised that he elected to restrain his mount to obtain a reward position after being caught wide in the early stages. Jockey Sewell further added that after shifting wide to obtain clear running when rounding the home turn, that his mount failed to respond when placed under hard riding from near the 600 metres and in his opinion proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer G Richardson advised that he would monitor the mare’s post-race recovery before making a determination on it’s future preparation.
 
 
Race 3: TONY MADDEN ARCHITECTS & INTERIORS QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1100 metres
 
Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Trainer J McConachy and Jockey C McIver viewed the patrol footage over the final 300 metres of the event to ascertain if there were grounds to lodge a protest. After doing so, both Trainer McConachy and Jockey McIver declined to proceed and correct weight was declared.
 
BOLLENTE – Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped MONSIEUR MACRON. Shifted out when placed under pressure in the home straight making contact with MONSIEUR MACRON on a number of occasions. Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
 
THE EGYPTIAN – Began awkwardly.
 
MONSIEUR MACRON (NZ) – Began awkwardly, was bumped by BOLLENTE shortly after the start and as a result, clipped heels and blundered. Inclined to lay in throughout. Raced keenly throughout the middle stages. Bumped by BOLLENTE on a number of occasions in the home straight.
 
 
Race 4: BISHOPP OUTDOOR ADVERTISING Class 1 Handicap 1100 metres
 
SHERWOOD PRINCE – Forced inwards shortly after the start when PARKBURN shifted in. Raced keenly throughout the middle stages.
 
VALLEY RATTLER - Forced inwards shortly after the start when PARKBURN shifted in.
 
LE RUBIS – Began awkwardly.
 
PARKBURN – Began awkwardly, shifting in abruptly and as a result, crowded runners to the inside.
 
Race 5: BISHOPP OUTDOOR ADVERTISING Class 1 Handicap 1100 metres
 
FREE DAWN – Began awkwardly. Inclined to lay out under pressure in the home straight.

HINVICTUS – Began awkwardly and bumped FREE DAWN. Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
TRICKEY BEANS – Stewards permitted Jockey J Stanley to ride 1.5 overweight when no other suitable rider was available.
 
ROSETTES – Began awkwardly. App. M Philpot was fined $500 for using her whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100 metres. Stewards took into account that this was App. Philpot’s 8th offence in the previous 12 months.
 
LISTEN MATE – Began awkwardly bumping FREE DAWN and as a result, lost ground.
 
CINDERELLA MAN – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Began awkwardly.
 
Race 6: WOOLLAM CONSTRUCTIONS ST PATRICK'S DAY CUP Class 3 Plate 1400 metres
 
GEOFFROY – Dislodged its rider enroute to the barriers. Jockey A Butler was cleared of any injury by the ambulance officers. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
TYCOON FLYER – Raced three wide without cover in the early stages before obtaining cover near the 700 metres.
 
COUNTESS ROSTOVA – Due to the late arrival on course, blood and urine samples were taken from the mare. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
