EDIFICATION – Jockey J. Stanley was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for his use of the whip 6 times prior to the 100m.
 
TRI NATIONS – Fractious in barrier. Reared and the start and lost significant ground. Inclined to lay in when placed under pressure in the home straight.  
 
AURON – Slow to begin. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 2: 2 BOYNE RIVER THOROUGHBREDS RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 Handicap 1050 metres
 
RUTTO – At a point near the 150m, shifted in onto the heels of ROCKETING TO THE WIN and was forced to restrain.
 
ASHERLA – Began awkwardly. Near the 150m was disappointed for run and forced to steady when BORNEES LAD shifted out and GABRIELLE shifted in.
 
BORNEES LAD – Inclined to lay in during the early and middle stages. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. Jockey C. McIver was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for his use of the whip 7 times prior to the 100m.
 
SAW THAT COMING – Fractious in barrier. At a point near the 900m raced in restricted room an lost ground when ROCKETING TO THE WIN hung in despite the best efforts of its rider.
 
GABRIELLE – Shifted in at the 150m bumping ASHERLA.
 
Race 3: CAPRICORNIA YEARLING SALE QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1050 metres
 
EL OF A SENORITA – Began awkwardly.
 
REAL STATEMENT – Began awkwardly.
 
IKIGAI STAR – Slow to begin.
 
SENSATIONABULL – Jockey A. Sewell was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip 6 times prior to the 100m.
 
Race 4: GREAT NORTHERN RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 Handicap 1300 metres
 
MOONSCAPE – Jockey T. Chambers was fined $200 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip 6 times prior to the 100m.
 
DEVIL KICK – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
JUST LET IT OUT – Began awkwardly.

BEN STARS – Began awkwardly. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
SMART RUBICK – Jockey T. Chambers was fined $200 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip 6 times prior to the 100m.
 
PRIZED BENEFIT – Began awkwardly.
