RACE 1: THAT’S NOT A RABBIT MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
 
VENETIAN DIAMOND- Reared as the start was effected resulting in Jockey J Rudd being dislodged in the barriers. Stewards advised trainer J Baker that he will be required to obtain a further barrier certificate for the filly prior to it next racing. Jockey Rudd was uninjured in this incident and fulfilled his remaining engagements.  
 
SEA PRAISE- Bumped on jumping away.
 
SCRIVANO- Bumped on jumping away.
 
ELEGANT MISS- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 2: HOT CROSS OPEN H’CAP 1000M-
 
Jockey S Sheargold was reprimanded for negligently providing Trainer P Webster with the incorrect saddlecloth number for TORERO upon weighing out. In assessing penalty Stewards were mindful of Mr Sheargold’s previous unblemished record in relation to this offence and that the error rectified soon after the saddle was presented to the Trainer.
 
FERRIGNO- Slow to begin.
 
LEAVESDEN- Began awkwardly.
 
DESTINED FOR WAR-Faulted at the 50m and was eased out of the event. A post-race Veterinary Inspection revealed the mare to have sustained a significant suspensory injury to the off fore leg.
 
RACE 3: NOT JUST AN EGG HUNT BENCHMARK 45 900 M
 
LE JEU- Tightened for room at the start.
 
BRIDE THE WITNESS- Slow into stride.
 
KAPACHINO MISS- Lost an off hind plate in running and sustained a laceration to the same leg which was consistent with having been galloped on.
 
RACE 4: BILBIES BEAT BUNNIES 0-50 HCAP 1200M
 
WE’RE BLESSED- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 5: DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE BENCHMARK 55 HCAP 1640M
 
No Racing incidents.
