Race 1:PTW & JBS MAIDEN PLATE – 900m  
 
BOO – Fractious during the preliminary. Reared in the barriers dislodging its rider. Subsequently declared a late scratching by order of stewards at 12:38pm. Stewards ordered all monies invested in BOO be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
 
  3 cents in the dollar for the win - #8
  8 cents in the dollar for the place of winner - #8
15 cents in the dollar for 2nd placegetter – #5
16 cents in the dollar for 3rd placegetter - #9
 
Stewards advised trainer M. Lewis that the gelding will be required to obtain a barrier certificate prior to next racing. Jockey R. Faher was assessed by the Queensland Ambulance Service and was passed fit to fulfill the remainder of his engagements.
 
PERILOUS THUNDER – Began awkwardly.
 
HELLOFADREAM – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
SHIRAISHI – Began awkwardly. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
ZARAGIGI – Slow to begin.
 
Race 2:ROMA BOBCAT HIRE BM60 HANDICAP – 900m  
 
DEADLY ONE – Began awkwardly. Stewards fined Trainer W. Baker was $200 under AR.206 for failing to enact a gear change by the prescribed time.
 
VALAR DOHAERIS – Began awkwardly tightening another runner to the outside.
 
BRIGHT COPPER – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
GENERAL MO – Began awkwardly tightening another runner to the inside.
 
WHISKEY APPLE – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
OLD TOWN ROAD – Began awkwardly.
 
Race 3:XXXX DRY BM60 HANDICAP – 900m  
 
OAKFIELD GETTEM – Jockey S. Sweedman was replaced by Jockey L. McCoy due to being overweight. Stewards accepted Jockey Sweedman’s explanation in regards to the matter.
 
DEEP  MELODY – Began awkwardly.
 
FOR LOVE – Began awkwardly bumping another runner to the outside.
 
CHEEKY MILA – Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
No further racing incidents.
 
Race 4:WILD DESERT BM50 HANDICAP – 1200m  
 
ALL TOO SWEET – Began awkwardly.
 
SKALD – Began awkwardly.
 
BOOM OR BUST – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
 
RINGO’S MAGIC – Hung out rounding the home turn forcing another runner to the outside wider.
 
WEATHER MAN – Forced wider rounding the home turn and a result had to be momentarily steadied from heels.
 
CHIEF HAVOC - Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 600m and lost ground.
 
Race 5:JAMES SQUIRE GINGER BEER BM50 HANDICAP – 1200m  
 
BOUND TO ME – Began awkwardly.
 
HOCKED – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
NEELANJALI – Raced in restricted room from a short distance approaching the 900m
 
BLUEY’S READY – Stood flat footed and lost significant ground. Trainer W. Louden was advised the gelding would require a barrier certificate prior to next racing.
 
DISCO DOUGIE – Raced wide without over throughout the early and middle stages. Inclined to lay in from  the 600m.
 
Race 6:BRENORRS OPEN PLATE – 1200m  
 
OH WHY – Approaching the 700m was forced to steady when another runner shifted ground marginally.
 
FABS COWBOY – Shifted ground approaching the 700m resulting in another runner being forced to steady. Apprentice R. Wilson was advised to exercise more care.
 
MIDNIGHT MATINEE – Began awkwardly.
 
THE CONSIGLIERE  - Raced wide without cover throughout the early and missile stages.
 
Race 7:ROMA TRANSPORT SERVICES BM60 HANDICAP – 1640m
 
RAMACHANDRA – Steadied from heels and was forced to restrain rounding the 1200m turn when another runner to inside hung out.
 
WUNULLA LADY – Began awkwardly lost ground.
 
CRAIGLEA CETINA – Raced wide without cover throughout the middle stages.
 
WAMWARRA BAY – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
MIRALIE – Hung out rounding the 1200m placing runners to the outside in restricted room.
 
RINVIATA – Raced in restricted room rounding the 1200m turn.
