Race 1: COMMONWEALTH HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE 1000M
 
NYTHE- Began awkwardly jumping out at the start and then raced at the rear of the field for the majority of the event. Post Race Veterinary examination was undertaken by order of Stewards. This examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
MISS IMPRESSIVE- Laid in in the home straight.
 
SNUBA- Over raced during the early stages and leaving the 700m had to ease off heels.
 
LILY’S DASH- Raced wide for the majority of the event. Jky J Baker reported to Stewards that shortly after the start he lost both irons but was able to regain them approaching the 900m. Stewards noted Jky Baker’s comments.
 
Race 2: ECS LOGISTICS BENCMARK 50 HANDICAP- 1000M
 
Due to an equipment failure Stewards had no surveillance footage of the start with only lateral footage being available.
 
SAVVY SONG-Raced wide for the majority. Jky J Baker advised Stewards that he injured his left elbow in the barriers as the start was affected. When entering the pull up area Jky J Baker dismounted from his mount complaining of soreness in his left arm/elbow. After being examined by QAS he was passed fit to continue riding for the remainder of the program.
 
DUN WITH ROSES- After beginning okay, failed to go the early speed drifting back racing at the rear of the field for the majority of the event despite the best efforts of the rider to improve into the race. A post-race Veterinary examination was undertaken with no abnormalities being detected.
 
THE STONE MASON- Raced at the rear of the field for the majority of the event.
 
MAEVE- Raced wide for the majority. Ran on strongly over the final stages of the event.
 
GREEN PARK- Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
Race 3: LOMUR CONSTRUCTIONS OPEN HANDICAP 1000M
 
VILLADEN- Held up for a run in the home straight.
 
FLANK SPEED- Began awkwardly with its head in the air and then bumped with MEDALS after the start. Over raced during the early stages and then proceeded to race wide until the 600m point then improved into the race from that point racing wide for the remainder. Ran on strongly over the final stages of the event.
 
KEENZAP- Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
MEDALS- Began awkwardly when jumping in and then bumped with FLANK SPEED shortly after the start was affected.
 
Race 4: ROMA HOME HARDWARE & IMPROVEMENTS QTIS CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1200M
 
LUCKY FORCE- Bumped with another runner shortly after the start was affected. Tended to lay out under pressure in the home straight. Jky T Banks on returning to scale reported that he had his right arm caught when in the barriers when FLUDWAY became fractious. As a result, had a graze on his right forearm. Jky Banks was subsequently treated by QAS and after being treated was passed fit to continue to ride at today’s program. Jky Bank was advised that a medical clearance would be required prior to resuming race riding.
 
NOTQUITELIKEJACK- Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Raced at the rear of the field for some distance before improving into the race from the 500 and finished the event off strongly.
 
FLUDWAY- Became fractious in the barriers shortly before the start.
 
RELATED DUTY- Bumped with NOTQUITELIKEJACK in the home straight.
 
SIR OCCY- Bumped with LUCKY FORCE shortly after the start. Raced at the rear of the field before improving into the race from the 1000m point while racing wide for the majority of the event.
 
BOSS BANDIT- Bumped on jumping with NOT QUITELIKEJACK as the start was affected.
 
Race 5: DS PAINTING/LJ HOOKER BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1640M
 
LIP SIP SUK- Laid in under pressure in the home straight over the concluding stages.
 
MAN IN THE MIRROR- Tended to roll in in the home straight approaching the 1500m point before being corrected by the rider. Raced at the rear for the majority of the event.
 
PACKAGE- Raced at the rear of the event for the majority before improving into the race from the 500m point. Finished the race off strongly.
 
LEGISLATE- Began awkwardly.
 
TIME TO TESTIFY-Began awkwardly when jumping out at the start.
 
SNAKESKIN-Had to take hold at the 1500m point when MAN IN THE MIRROR rolled in marginally.
