RACE 1:SLATTERY / NUTRIEN HARCOURT QTIS MAIDEN PLATE (1000 Metres)
 
LOVE AIN’T FREE – Upon returning to scale, jockey James Baker reported that LOVE AIN’T FREE failed to respond to riding over the final stages and went to the line disappointingly. Rider J. Baker was fined the sum of $200 pursuant to AR211(1) for weighing in, in excess of a half kilogram over his declared weight.
 
MR CASINO – Slow into stride. Laid outwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
BUSH BATTLE – Laid inwards when placed under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
TRIBESMAN – Shifted outwards on jumping, bumping with SHE’S GOT GRACE. Raced wide throughout.
 
SHE’S GOT GRACE – Shifted inwards on jumping, bumping with TRIBESMAN. Raced wide throughout. Bumped by VALOURHEE near the 900m when that runner shifted outwards.  
 
LA PRESTIGE – Raced wide throughout.
 
MADAM MAGPIE – Blundered on jumping. At a point near the 600m, was obliged to restrain and shift outwards to avoid the heels of BUSH BATTLE (L Tilley) when that runner shifted inwards when not fully clear. Jockey Les Tilley was reprimanded under the provisions of AR131(a) for careless riding.
 
REPLICA – Raced wide throughout.
 
VALOURHEE – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Shifted outwards near the 900m and bumped SHE’S GOT GRACE.
 
 
RACE 2:MCINNES WILSON / HALL CHADWICK CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1000 Metres)
 
The start of this race was delayed due to one of the clerks of the course requiring medical attention by the on-course QAS officers after being kicked by a runner in the mounting yard prior to the horses entering the course proper. After stewards consulted with SKY Racing, all races were put back by one time slot, with Race 7 set to commence at 4:48pm.
 
LUNESSE – Raced wide throughout.
 
SHEDENZA – Bumped with VIKING TREASURE on jumping.
 
BONTOBEWILD – Was declared a late scratching at 1:56pm after refusing to load. Prior to the declaration on correct weight, stewards ordered that all bets placed on BONTOBEWILD be refunded, with the following deductions to apply to all successful wagers:
 
6 cents in the dollar for the winner
10 cents in the dollar for the place of the winner
11 cents in the dollar for 2nd place
10 cents in the dollar for 3rd place
 
Trainer Wayne Baker was advised that BONTOBEWILD would be required to trial prior to racing again.
 
HI FRANK – Was fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Slow to begin. Near the 500m had to be steadied off the heels of SHEDENZA (App B Baker) which shifted in. App B Baker was severely reprimanded for this incident.
 
HERE’S TO POWER – Raced wide throughout.

TOSMIAN –Trainer B Waldron was advised a warning would be placed on the mare for being difficult to load.
 
VIKING TREASURE – Bumped with SHEDENZA on jumping.
 
MISS RAPIDE – Raced wide throughout.
 
SAY WHEN SUTTY – Began awkwardly.
 
 
RACE 3:ROMA FORD / MITCHELL WATER RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP (1200 Metres)
 
KOBE ASCOT – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin.
 
TOUGH JUDGE – Shifted outwards abruptly at the start. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
IL TORO D’ORO – Apprentice J Busuttin lost her irons shortly after the start, placing her at a disadvantage for the entirety of the event.
 
RELATED DUTY – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
MAEVE – Began awkwardly and shifted inwards, bumping SIR OCCY.
 
THROW ONE IN – Raced wide throughout.
 
SIR OCCY – Bumped on jumping by MAEVE which shifted inwards. Raced wide throughout.
 
KANTAI – Raced wide in the early stages.

RACE 4:ECS PROJECT LOGISTICS / EZYQUIP CLASS 5 PLATE (1200 Metres)
 
ACEROD – Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
AREYA TUCHUZY – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
KAT CHINNA – Raced wide throughout.
 
MY SYMBOL – Bumped with SILVANNA’S SONG on jumping.
 
WHODARESWINS – Shortly after the start commenced to buck and lost considerable ground, taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer B Johnson was advised that WHODARESWINS would be required to trial prior to racing again.
 
SILVANNA’S SONG – Bumped with MY SYMBOL on jumping. Upon returning to scale, jockey N Morton reported that after being trapped wide for the majority, SILVANNA’S SONG when placed under pressure failed to respond to her riding urges. Jockey Morton further advised that upon entering the home straight, the mare started to display unusual respitatory sounds therefore she elected to ease her mount, not placing it under any more pressure over the final stages. A post-race veterinary examination which revealed the mare to have an abnormal respiratory noise. Trainer C Rodgers was advised the SILVANNA’S SONG will need a veterinary clearance including results of a scope prior to racing again.
 
MAKERS – Raced wide throughout. Laid outwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
RACE 5:XXXX GINGER BEER COUNTRY STAMPEDE QUALIFIER OPEN HANDICAP (1000 Metres)
 
KA BLING – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
FLANK SPEED – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Commenced to race ungenerously in the early stages when resenting the kick back. When questioned regarding the performance, jockey P Hamblin stated that after being slow away and resenting the kick back in the early stages, the mare settled further back in the field than anticipated which proved detrimental in its overall chances.
 
INVAHIR – Jockey L Tilley dropped his whip at the 150m.
 
SMILING ZAC (NZ) – Slow to begin.
 
SOOPAT – When asked to comment on the performance, jockey Scott Sheargold stated that SOOPAT failed to handle today’s track conditions and when placed under pressure in the home straight, the gelding commenced to weaken and as a result he elected to ease over the final stages. A post-race veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
 
MAGICAL SIPPER – Raced wide throughout.
 
MON PIERRE – Apprentice Sarah Robbins reported that MON PIERRE had travelled well in the early stages, however when placed under pressure, the gelding failed to respond to her riding urges and went to the line disappointingly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer A Webb was advised a veterinary clearance would be require prior to racing again.
 
TRANSCELTIC – Raced wide throughout. Jockey M Kennedy reported upon returning to scale that after beginning slowly, TRANSCELTIC was unable to obtain a preferred position on pace within the field, which in her opinion was detrimental to the gelding’s overall chances, however added that TRANSCELTIC finished the race off well given the circumstances.
 
THE SQUIRE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as raced on the 15th November 2025. Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
RACE 6: THE CLUB HOTEL COUNTRY CUPS CHALLENGE QUALIFIER/ROMA CUP OPEN HANDICAP (1640 Metres)
 
SKYFORGER – Jockey L Tilley was fined $300 under the provisions of AR131(c) for making a celebratory gesture prior to passing the winning post.
 
 
CAFFREY (IRE) – Trainer Bevan Johnson was reprimanded under the provisions of AR106(2) for presenting CAFFREY (IRE) without its tongue-tie. Raced wide throughout. Near the 1200m, became awkwardly placed on heels and was obliged to shift wider.
 
TIJUANA TWO STEP – Laid outwards when rounding the home turn.
 
DECIDUOUS – Raced wide throughout.
 
STAMPEDE WARRIOR – Slow to begin.
 
I AM GOOD AT THIS – When asked to comment on the performance, apprentice Tom Orr stated that I AM GOOD AT THIS travelled okay in the early stages however when asked to respond from a point near the 1000m, the gelding failed to respond and proved disappointing over the final stages. Apprentice Orr added that I AM GOOD AT THIS may not have handled the step up in distance and that the gelding may have come to end of its current preparation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Apprentice Orr was reminded of his obligations in not using his whip when out of contention.
 
KARIACTION – Apprentice S Robbins dropped her whip at the 50m.
 
RACE 7: FKG BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP (1640 Metres)
 
ONE THING COUNTS – When questioned jockey P Hamblin stated his mount travelled well early however failed to quicken when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
 
SPOOKY SPIRIT – Raced wide for the majority.
 
LEGISLATE – Lost right fore plate in running. Jockey J Baker reported LEGISLATE became awkward in its action near the 600m and elected to ease his mount out of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have stiffness in the hindquarters and to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer W Baker was advised the gelding would need a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
 
HOKKAIDO (NZ) – Stood flat footed. Trainer R Hay was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding for standing flat footed.  
 
AMARANTZ – Slow to begin.
 
TIME TO TESTIFY – Began awkwardly. Over-raced early and middle stages.
