GENERAL
As Apprentice S. Tomlinson was unable to make the weight in races two and ten, stewards permitted the change as per the Stewards race day summary. Apprentice S. Tomlinson was fined $200 under the provisions of AR190(3) for being overweight in race two and find $300 under the provisions of AR143(14)(a) for failing to claim his full allowance.
 
Race 1: SKYLINE RESTAURANT QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 2000 metres
 
Is That You Ethel – Jumped away awkwardly. Rider W Peel reported that her mount felt awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the off foreleg. Trainer S Morrisey was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to next start.
 
Marnie's Star – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
 
Race 2: FOOD TRADERS AUSTRALIA QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap 1100 metres
 
The start of this race was delayed approximately 4 mins owing to BRAMBLE BAY requiring re-saddling.
 
Mishani Persuasion – Held up for clear running on entering the home straight and was obliged to shift wider to improve into clear running. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Beauty Boom – Laid in in the early stages of the event.
 
Mama's Man – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Bramble Bay – Slow into stride. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Became awkward in its stride when passing the shadow of the winning post.
 
 
Race 3: AGRI FOOD INGREDIENTS Class 4 Handicap 2000 metres
 
Zamosa (NZ) – Carried wider on entering the home straight.
 
Race 4: SPECTRUM TRANSPORT Maiden Plate 1400 metres
 
Lost It In Vegas – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Mr Dudwey – Rider reported that in her opinion the gelding failed to handle the track conditions
 
No More Red – hampered on jumping
 
The Kelly Gang – Jumped away awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the straight and became awkwardly placed on the heels of UZERLI passing the 300m.
 
Exhibitor – Overraced in the early stages.
 
Uzerli – Overraced in the early stages.
 
Caoimhe (NZ) – Rider reported that the filly is better suited over greater distances.
 
Race 5: ST DALFOUR AQUIS QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap SERIES FINAL 1400 metres
 
Hard Reyva – Reared at the start and was slow to begin. Overraced in the middle stages. Laid in under pressure in the straight. Rider reported that after being fractious in the barriers was slow to begin and settled further back then initial planned. He added that his mount failed to let down over the concluding stages.
 
Master Marko (NZ) – Slow to begin after being fractious in the barriers. Over raced in the early and middle stages and passing the 1200m had to shift wider on the track after improving onto the heels of GENERAL WOLFFE. Jockey M Hellyer was reprimanded under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 6 occasions.
 
Ready For Better – Lost off hind plate in running.
 
General Wolffe – Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
Race 6: PLUSPAK OPEN Handicap 1400 metres
 
Cristal Breeze (IRE) – Overraced in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Montez – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Love Struck – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
Static Lift – Slow to begin.
 
Race 7: NICHE BENCHMARK 62 Handicap 1000 metres
 
Minto's Paradise - Hung in when placed under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride out.
 
Blue Kentucky Moon – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Jay Peak Kitten - Shifted in abruptly on jumping and was hampered.
 
Palawa Kani – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Lady Tulessa – Shifted out abruptly on jumping and was hampered.
 
Race 8: EDLYN FOODS BENCHMARK 75 Handicap 1100 metres
 
Admund Boy – Stood flat footed and was slow into stride. Trainer A Campton was advised that ADMUND BOY would require a further barrier certificate prior to next start.
 
Brazen Gem (NZ) – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Penasquito – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Jacksprat – Laid in the early stages of the event.
 
Daring Belle – Raced in restricted racing room on entering the home straight.
 
Race 9: NEW SEASON MEMBERSHIP NOW OPEN Class 2 Handicap1100 metres
 
Za Hidden Dragon – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid out when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Reality – Slow into stride. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Mozart's Rival – Overraced in the early and middle stages of the event. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
Unification – Reared on jumping away.
 
Skilled Artist – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
Epic Player – Overraced in the early and middle stages of the event.
 
Race 10: CHRISTOPHER SPARKS WINTER PROVINCIAL STAYERS - HEAT - BENCHMARK 72 Han 2150 metres
 
Olympic Class – Jumped away awkwardly. After weakening noticeably in the home straight, under went a post race veterinary examination, which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
 
Read My Future – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Firebox – Raced in restricted room for a number of strides passing the winning post on the first occasion. Checked on entering the home straight when racing in restricted room between ELEGANT DROVER and MONACO DELUXE, which shifted out marginally.
 
Elegant Drover – Raced wide throughout the event. Hampered on entering the home straight.
 
Quotant – Raced in restricted room passing the 100m when awkwardly placed to the inside of OLYMPIC CLASS.
 
Scilago – Slow to begin.
 
Monaco Deluxe – Hampered on jumping away. Laid out rounding the home turn.
