GENERAL
 
As apprentice C. Bayliss under suspension, riding replacements were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
 
Race 1: HAHN SUPER DRY MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M
 
DORISS – Shifted outwards near the 200m when attempting to obtain clear running.
 
NAILED IT NAN – Raced greenly throughout and near the 900m bumped the hind quarters of KUSAMA and near the 800m, when racing tight to the inside of KUSAMA, made contact with BEACHBREAK.
 
KUSAMA – Jumped away awkwardly. Became unbalanced when bumped near the 900m and thereafter was inclined to lay inwards. Raced wide throughout. Bumped passing the 200m.
 
BEACHBREAK – Bumped and unbalanced near the 800m. Had to be taken outwards from the 400m to the 200m to obtain clear running.
 
CASCUS – Lost ground when severely crowded on jumping between NAILED IT NAN and KUSAMA, which jumped awkwardly inwards.
 
Race 2: SUMMER BRIGHT OPEN H'CAP – 1000M
 
JADENTOM – Trainer L. Hatch advised that the mare would be sent for an immediate spell.
 
INVINCIBLE GANGSTA – Had to be eased when racing keenly near the 600m.
 
Race 3: IRON JACK CLASS 1 PLATE – 2200M
 
YOUL BEATEM – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
PUMPKIN DIAMOND – Raced wide throughout. Carried slightly wider passing the 800m when ALAM MO NA shifted out to improve. Laid inwards in the straight.
 
LYON’S MANE – Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.
 
Race 4: XXXX GOLD RATINGS BAND 0 – 68 H'CAP – 1600M
 
TOAN THANG – Slow to begin.
 
MISHANI ISTANA – Slow into stride.
 
PATRIOTIC ROSE – Trainer D. Hansen was fined $100 for failing to declare N. Thomas as the rider of the mare by the prescribed time.
 
Race 5: THE GORGEOUS CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1800M
 
TATCEE – Laid inwards in the straight.
 
Race 6: JAMES SQUIRE ONE FIFTY LASHES QTIS 3YO H'CAP – 1200M
 
The declaration of correct weight was delayed when L. Ross, the trainer of 3rd placegetter MISHANI ROMANCE, requested to view the photo finish image. After both Mr Ross and stewards viewed the image, they were satisfied with the Judge’s placings and correct weight was declared.
 
ENTERPRISE ASVA – Raced three wide throughout. Momentarily inconvenienced making the turn into the straight when HEY PAL shifted outwards.
 
KAORU KING – Trainer D. Hansen was fined $100 for failing to declare B. Ainsworth as the rider of the gelding by the prescribed time. Slow into stride.
 
HEY PAL – Slow to begin.
 
BAY NOT GREY – Jumped way extremely awkwardly.
 
Race 7: FURPHY CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1000M
 
MAKES YOU THINK – Raced wide throughout.
 
STRIKING DISTANCE – Slow to begin.
 
CROWD SURFER – Slow into stride.
 
REMLAPS ROCK – Slow to begin.
 
FOXPACK – Jumped away extremely awkwardly. Bumped at the 100m.
 
MISSIE ARCHER – Inclined to lay inwards slightly in the straight, and when straightened approaching the 100m, made contact with FOXPACK.
 
TEAGZ – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 8: HAHN SUPER DRY 3.5 BENCHMARK 75 H'CAP – 1300M
 
SILENT EXPLORER – Laid out over the concluding stages.
 
WILDWOOD JADE – Slow into stride. Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
YABA DABL DOYA – Slow to begin.
