BAMBALAM – Jumped in at the start. Raced wide with cover for the majority of the event.

WINE NOT ROSES – Trainer S McKinnon was reprimanded under LR36(6) for failing to scratch WINE NOT ROSES, which was a dual acceptor in Race 3, by the prescribed time. Bumped on jumping. Slow to begin. Raced three wide for the majority. Over-raced in the early stages. Laid out under pressure approaching the winning post.

DUNKIRK – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Became unbalanced when awkwardly placed at the heels of DIVENIRE passing the 450m.

TEPPANYAKI (NZ) – Restrained at the start from the wide barrier and shifted to a rearward position closer to the rail

ZAYDE – Raced in restricted room near the 1100m and commenced to over-race until a point leaving the 800m. C Robertson, rider of NIDAROS, was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground.

ZOU ZOU KACANARKIS - Raced three wide with cover for the majority. Near the 500m shifted in after becoming awkwardly placed near the heels of NIDAROS

Race 6: STRIPE PRO SIGNS Class 4 Handicap 1800 metres

NEMINGAH (NZ) – Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance rider Z Lloyd reported with the slow early tempo the horse was inclined to over-race in the early stages and did not travel comfortably from the 1000m and failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure. He added he was of the opinion that having its first start back from a spell over 1800m on a wet track also contributed to the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A post-race swab sample was taken from NEMINGAH.

LUVYOUANYTIME – Raced three wide from the 1100m and progressed forward to race outside the leader from the 800m. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
