Race 10: STREET CHASE – Trainer J. Mason advised Stewards that the gelding will be undergoing a tie back procedure following its disappointing effort.

GENERAL
 
Stewards permitted the following overweights:
 
Race 5: R, Maloney +0.5kg (56kg)
Race 6: M. Harley +1kg (55kg)
Race 8: M. Harley +1kg (55kg)
 
As Jockey N. Tomizawa was indisposed at Ipswich on the 20/11/25, he was replaced as per the race day summary.
 
Trainer A. Simpson was fined $200 pursuant to LR 36(6)(a) for failing to scratch LIBERTY STEPS by the prescribed time which was a dual acceptor in races 4 and 7.
 


RACE 1: DREAMTIME RESORTS QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP 1000 M

BARRYTHEBARBARIC – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
BOOTS – Raced greenly in the early and middle stages. Jockey J. Bayliss reported at scale that he could offer no explanation for the colt’s disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt to be displaying clinical signs of heat stress.
 
KING’S DIAMOND – Began awkwardly and shifted out. Raced in restricted room near the 650m.
 
NOZOMU – Slow to begin.
 
TIM TAM SLAM - Raced in restricted room near the 700m.
 
TRAMCA – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
HANG UP – Hampered at the start. Raced wide with cover for the majority.
 
PHERE THE WARREGO – Trainer M. Currie was fined $100 pursuant to AR106(2)for presenting PHERE THE WARREGO to the mounting yard without a nasal strip before being directed to apply one as per the filly’s approved race day gear. Over-raced in the early stages. Near the 200m, was bumped and became unbalanced when ELUSIVE CAPITAL shifted out. Jockey D. Moor the rider of ELUSIVE CAPITAL was reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding.
 
I AM THE GIRL – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.

RACE 2: THE DOCK MOOLOOLABA BENCHMARK 80 HANDICAP    2200 M

CAVALRY MAN – Bumped with COUNTER on jumping away. When asked to comment on the performance of CAVALRY MAN, Apprentice J. McMurray stated that the gelding may not have appreciated the step up in distance. Trainer L. Gough advised that CAVALRY MAN would now be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild respiratory distress.
 
TAPILDOODLEDO – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide until the 1400m.
 
COUNTER – Bumped with CAVALRY MAN on jumping away. Held up rounding the home turn behind the weakening CAVALRY MAN. Laid out under pressure approaching the winning post.
 
ICHIBAN – Slow to begin.
 
WOWZINO – When asked to comment on the performance of WOWZINO, Jockey A. Jones reported that in her opinion the gelding did not run out a strong 2200m and may appreciate a drop back in distance. Trainer D. Vandyke confirmed that WOWZINO would now be placed in races over a shorter distance than today’s event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed heat stress.
 
MARENARO – Slow to begin.
 
LET FLY – Raced in restricted room rounding the home turn.
 
SUN WORSHIPPER – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 

RACE 3: HIGGINS COATINGS BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP         1800 M

TWIGMAN – Hampered at the start.
 
MORNING SUN(IRE) – Lost its off-hind plate.
 
CAPE CRUSADER – Raced wide.
 
TAJAWAL – Raced in restricted room between the 1100m and the 1000m. Jockey R. Maloney reported that his mount was inclined to hang in and became awkward in its action over the concluding stages and as a result he elected not to ride TAJAWAL out over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed heat stress.
 
RHUVAAL – Laid in over the concluding stages.
 
HOLY FLASH – Steadied from heels near the 1200m and was obliged to shift out. Raced wide.
 
DIVAKARA – Raced wide.
 
SAVANNAH GANGSTER – Raced wide until the 1200m.
 
BECAMO – Slow to begin. Raced in restricted room between the 1100m and the 1000m.
 
INDY ROSE WARRIOR – Shifted out at the start. Over-raced in the early stages whilst being restrained.
 
CONTILDA’S LOVE – Raced wide. Approaching the 100m, was disappointed for a run and had to be steadied. Jockey B. Thompson reported that he was obliged to settle further back in the field than anticipated and was not disappointed with the gelding’s performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 
RACE 4: POLYTRACK BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP          1400 M

SENESCHAL – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
CAPITAL ASSET – Began awkwardly. Near the 900m, had to be steadied when SENESCHAL shifted in. Apprentice J. Franklin the rider of SENESCHAL was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
 
BETTER BE NORDY – Lost its off fore plate.
 
BILLIONAIR BABY – Improved onto heels near the 700m and shifted wider.
Jockey A. Jones reported at scales that in her opinion BILLIONAIR BABY maynot have appreciated todays track conditions.
 
LUTON HOO – Bumped with ARALETTA on jumping away.
 
ARALETTA – Bumped with LUTON HOO on jumping away.
 
SHE OURS – Jockey A. Thompson dropped his whip near the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination and endoscopic examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer L. Mayfield-Smith advised that he would now consider the application of a tongue tie and cross over-noseband to the mares gear.
 
TRAPEDO – Raced keenly leaving the 800m. Improved onto heels near the 700m and shifted wider. Improved onto heels near the 200m and was obliged to alter course.
 
GAMBINO – Began awkwardly and was then hampered.
 
WAKU WAKU – Near the 900m, had to be steadied when racing keenly at the heels of LUTON HOO when the pace of the race slackened. Near the 350m, was momentarily inconvenienced when LUTON HOOlaid out before being corrected by its rider. Shifted in under pressure leaving the 200m.
 
 
CRACKENTHORPE – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Improved onto heels near the 700m and shifted wider.
 
CREATIVITY MISS – Began awkwardly and shifted out. Raced keenly leaving the 800m. Near the 350m was inconvenienced.
 
RACE 5: STANLEY RIVER THOROUGHBREDS QTIS 3YO QUALITY HANDICAP   1400 M

THEE CREEK – Bumped on jumping away. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor lacerations to its near hind leg, consistent with being galloped on.
 
BRAVE MONARCH – Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped THEE CREEK. Held up rounding the home turn until the 250m. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
HA’PENNY HATCH – Approaching the 600m, improved onto heels and shifted out.
 
PROVOKER - Leaving the 700m, improved onto heels and shifted out. Near the 500m, improved onto heels and had to be steadied.
 
ANOTHER CASHIE - Approaching the 600m, improved onto heels and shifted out.
 
RED CODE – Over-raced in the early stages. Laid in near the 400m before being corrected by its rider.
 
SEVILO – Began awkwardly. Leaving the 700m, improved onto heels and shifted out. Lost its near fore plate.
 
LADY WINDERMERE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination behind the barriers after a small amount of blood was found in the filly’s mouth and was subsequently cleared to start. Slow to begin.
 
KRUMAC – Improved onto heels near the 700m and shifted out.


RACE 6: LANDMARK RESORT & SPA BENCHMARK 85 HANDICAP    1400 M

WARBY – Held up rounding the home turn until the 300m. When racing in close proximity to BAND OF BROTHERS approaching the winning post, WARBY was accidently struck across the nose by the whip of the rider of BAND OF BROTHERS.
 
POCKET FULL – Near the 100m, was disappointed for a run between KORUTO and BAND OF BROTHERS and was obliged to alter course.
 
BEAU DAZZLER - Near the 900m, commenced to race keenly.
 
WINSTON SMURFHILL – Near the 1300m, commenced to buck and took not competitive part for the remainder of the event. Trainer N. McCall was advised that the gelding would now be required to officially trial prior to racing again. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
BAND OF BROTHERS – Bumped at the start. Shifted out over the concluding stages.
 
GANBARE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
NAVAL TRADER – Had to be steadied from heels near the 900m.
 
WAPITI – Near the 900m, commenced to race keenly.
 
KORUTO – Began awkwardly and bumped BAND OF BROTHERS.
 
HEMAN - Jockey M. Harley was severely reprimanded pursuant to AR 132(7)(a)(1 for using his whip in consecutive strides prior to the 100m.
 
ROCK HARD LOVE – Obliged to alter course near the 100m in order to improve.

RACE 7: TAB MOOLOOLABA CUP        1600 M

MISS JOELENE – Hampered on jumping away. Shifted out under pressure near the 50m.
 
SIBAAQ – Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped KRONENBOURG. Near the 600m, was inconvenienced and forced wider by LIBERTY STEPS. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
KRONENBOURG – Bumped on jumping away. Raced wide without cover. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Near the 50m, had to be steadied when GALIFIANAKIS shifted in and MISS JOELENE shifted out.
 
VICTORY WIN – Raced wide.
 
GALIFIANAKIS – Slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear running. Improved onto heels over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully tested to the finishing line.
 
LIBERTY STEPS – Over-raced in the early stages. Laid in under pressure near the 300m.
 
 
KEITEL – Near the 600m, was inconvenienced and carried wider.
 
THE DROVER – Raced wide with cover. Near the 600m had to be steadied from the heels of KEITEL which was carried out by SIBAAQ (GB)  when that rider was forced wider by LIBERTY STEPS. Jockey M. Butler, the rider of LIBERTY STEPS was severely reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding.
 

RACE 8: THE WHARF MOOLOOLABA SWISS ACE PLATE       1000 M

HIDDEN WEALTH – Shifted in under pressure over the final 100m. Raced wide.
 
KING KAPA – Raced wide.
 
MANHOOD – Began awkwardly and shifted out, causing its rider to lose the use of his near side iron until the 850m. Inconvenienced approaching the 600m. Raced extremely ride throughout.
 
VODKA MARTINI – Near the 700m was crowded for room and had to be steadied when MAXIMUM OUTPUT shifted in before being corrected. Jockey M. Rodd the rider of MAXIMUM OUTPUT was reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding.
 
NETTUNO – Commenced to over-race near the 600m. Held up rounding the home turn
 
FLEETWOOD – Blundered on jumping, unbalancing Jockey B. Thompson and lost ground.
 
MAXIMUM OUTPUT – Raced wide.
 
HURTS SO GOOD – Began awkwardly. Over-raced near the 600m. Held up leaving the 400m until leaving the 300m. Approaching the 200m, became awkwardly placed at heels for a number of strides.
 
THELWELL – Approaching the 600m became awkwardly placed on heels.

LIQUOR – Began awkwardly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to the mares off hind leg, consistent with being galloped on.
 
ZOUPERB– Began awkwardly. Inconvenienced approaching the 600m. Raced extremely wide throughout.
 
LONHRO’S QUEEN – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
RACE 9: TRAVIS SCHULTZ & PARTNERS QTIS 3YO QUALITY HANDICAP  1000 M
 
IMPERVIOUS – Raced wide.
 
FOREIGN PRESS – Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped GET READY LASS. Raced wide.
 
MIDNIGHT SPIRIT – When asked to comment on the performance of MIDNIGHT SPIRIT, Jockey R. Maloney reported that in his opinion the gelding may appreciate a step up in distance.
 
FORGOTTEN SPIRIT – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
JAGGERY – Raced wide. Near the 250m, was obliged to alter course when IMPERVIOUS shifted out under pressure. Jockey M. Rodd the rider of IMPERVIOUS was reminded of his obligations to stop and straighten his mounts when shifting ground.
 
THE BEAR – Began awkwardly and shifted out.
 
GET READY LASS – Bumped on jumping away.
 
SEVEER - Began awkwardly and bumped with YUNA IS PIERATA. Had to be steadied near the 800m when awkwardly placed to the inside of FORGOTTEN SPIRIT, which laid in despite the efforts of its rider.
 
CHAMPAGNE LANE – Began awkwardly and was then hampered shortly after the start. Jockey D. Moor reported at scale that after beginning awkwardly, he was obliged to settle further back in the field than anticipated.
 
YUNA IS PIERATA – Began awkwardly and bumped with dupes. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
BOOMSHANKA – Slow to begin.
 
RACE 10: INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP    1200 M
 
TOWN CRIER - Shifted out under pressure leaving the 200m.
 
MINTAKA LAD – Raced wide. Leaving the 200m, brushed with BOLD COMIC.
 
BEWS – Slow to begin.
 
BOHEMIAN LAD – Approaching the 900m, had to be steadied when over-racing at the heels of ZELGARIA.
 
BOLD COMIC – Blundered on jumping away. Raced wide. Obliged to alter course leaving the 200m, shifted out and brushed with MINTAKA LAD.
 
AMORE VELOCE – Lost its near hind plate.
 
COSMO CENTAURUS – Leaving the 800m, improved onto the heels of NEGOTIATIONS, shifted out and became awkwardly placed between NEGOTIATIONS and HELLA FAST, resulting in Jockey D. Moor having to severely restrain his mount. Put in an awkward stride approaching the 400m. Laid in under pressure in the home straight and over the concluding stages, resulting in Jockey D. Moor having to stop and straighten his mount. Jockey D. Moor reported at scale that in his opinion the gelding may appreciate a step up in distance.
 
NEGOTIATIONS – Bumped at the 200m when POSTER GIRL shifted out to improve.
 
POSTER GIRL – Directed out approaching the 200m and bumped with NEGOTIATIONS. Shifted in under pressure approaching the 100m.
 
HELLA FAST – Raced wide. Crowded and steadied near the 200m when NEGOTIATIONS was bumped and taken outwards by POSTER GIRL. Jockey M. Harley the rider of POSTER GIRL was reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a)
 
ALDOLFITO – Slow to begin. Over-raced approaching 900m.
