Race 1: Central Highlands Auto Class 1 Handicap- 1000 metres

KUNG FU KITTY- Tightened between runners at the start and lost some ground. Shifted wide on the track from the 800 metres.

SWISH WISH- Lay out shortly after the start.

TANZANITE LUCK- Appeared to slip behind and began awkwardly.

SAINT STAR- Near the 900 metres, become unbalanced and shifted in slightly.

WAR DRAKE- Eased near the 900 metres when another runner shifted in slightly.

Race 2: Dow Agrosciences BM 65 Handicap- 1100 metres

WOODEN EYE JOE- Trainer A O’Sullivan was advised if riders are available prior to jockey declaration, he should engage an available rider and not one engaged on an emergency. Raced wide throughout.

STAR SYSTEM- On jumping, reared slightly and lost some ground. Near the 600 metres, improved into a doubtful run and when another runner was tiring, had to be checked and lost ground.

SAMARAH GIRL- Immediately prior to start was fractious and when the start was effected, bound in the air, then knuckled over and dislodged the rider. Apprentice inspected by the ambulance and cleared to fulfil remaining engagements.

HEARTY CLANG- Began to tire and lose ground from the 600 metres.

POLAR BLITZ- Rider advised to ride his mount out the end of the race. Action did not cost fourth placing.

Race 3: Glencore Rolleston Coal QTIS Maiden Plate- 1100 metres

LAVRA QUALO- Stewards permitted the late scratching at 10.24am due to issue loading the horse to be floated.

RAUCHY COL- Little slow to begin.

IRISH DARK- Little slow to begin.

Race 4: Central Highlands Regional Council BM 55 Handicap- 1400 metres

ZAPATA FALLS- Stood flat-footed and as a result lost some ground at the start.

SPINADA- Slow to begin.

KING BING- When apprentice could only claim 2kg of 3kg claim, he was fined $100. Stewards took into account his recent good record in regard to weight related matters.

COUNTY GOLD- Slow to begin.

Race 5: Colin Meek Memorial Springsure Cup Open Handicap- 1400 metres

HAYYLER’S DRAGON- Began awkwardly and lost ground.

INACTION- Slow to begin.

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED
