Race 1: NUTRIENT AG SOLUTIONS BM 50 HANDICAP - 1000 metres
ASBURY PARK was a late scratching at 11am due to no rider being available.
ALGEROBA – Travelled wide for much of the race.
SPARMAN – Slow to begin.
ALMONDELLA – Jumped outwards contacting OUR GIRL TAMIYA, slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race finishing tailed off. Jockey B. Richardson stating the mare never felt comfortable and didn’t handle the hard track conditions. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no abnormalities.
SAME OLD STORY – Travelled wide for much of the race.
OUR GIRL TAMIYA – Jumped away awkwardly and was contacted on jumping.
LOLLIPOP ROCKET – Held up nearing the 200m and manoeuvred wider to gain clear running.
Race 2: E.E. PARR O.B.E. MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres
MINTY BOY – Travelled wide in the early stages and dictated to when an inside horse lay out rounding the first turn, then travelled wide for the remainder. Ducked outwards at the top of the home straight proving difficult to ride out.
MOMENT TO CONQUER – Hung out rounding the first turn and travelled wide for the remainder of the race. Trainer B. Richardson advised the Stewards the gelding pulled up shin sore in both front legs and will now be going for a spell.
THE LANDING – Fractious prior to jumping.
RIPOVA – Fractious prior to jumping and was slow to begin. Put in an awkward stride near the 100m.
Race 3: SOUTH WEST FORD NISSAN RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HADICAP - 1200 metres
JERRY ZANDA – Slow to begin.
SPICE TRADER – Jumped awkwardly and slow into stride.
Race 4: WESTERN TRUCK GROUP GREAT WESTERN SPRINT OPEN HANDICAP - 1100 metres
ZUKAZ - Bumped with ANGELS OF FENWAY on jumping.
ANGELS OF FENWAY – Bumped with ZUKAZ on jumping. Travelled wide for much of the race and rounded the home turn extremely wide. Jockey A. Bakos stating the mare hung out for much of the race.
DRAYMAN – Lay out down the home straight when placed under pressure.
FLASH FIBIAN – Slow to begin.
Race 5: LANSDOWNE STUD BM 45 HANDICAP - 1400 metres
MAXIMUM HUSTLE – Contacted at the start.
CHEEKY CHOPS – Slow into stride.
JACK’S DREAM – Jumped outwards contacting an outside runner.
OUR SAY – Lay out over the concluding stages when placed under pressure.
HOT CHOCOLATE – Travelled wide for much of the race and lay in down the home straight.
Race 6: TREASURE’S BM 65 HANCICAP – 1400 metres
TRUMP ME – Travelled wide for much of the race and lay in over the concluding stages.
BRIS VEGAS – Over raced in the early stages.
OLD TOWN ROAD – Slow to begin and slow into stride. Held up for clear running from the 200m to the 100m when eased outwards off heels to gain clear running.
