GENERAL
 
Due to no other riders being available WHISKEY DANCER in Race 1 was declared a late scratching at 8.34am. All rider changes as per the Stewards Summary.
 
RACE 1: ANIPRO QTIS BM60 HANDICAP 1000M

BEE TWO- Slow to begin.
 
PUREZZA- Raced at the rear for the majority of the event. Ran on well over the final stages of the event.
 
HELIKEDEMPRETTY- Post Race vet examination due to below market performance this examination failed to detect any abnormalities.
 
REIGNING ALPHA- Raced in a four- wide position up to the 600m point and then extremely wide for the remainder of the event.
 
SOUL SPIRIT- Appr I Jessop- Refused to jump and took no further part in the race. Under the provision of AR75, Trainer W Baker was advised that the horse would be required to undertake an official trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to racing again.
 
RACE 2: TOPX/NUTRIEN/DAWSON RIVER PRODUCE CLASS B HANDICAL 1000M

STARTLING CAT- Slow to begin.
 
COSMIC ARC- After beginning okay, failed to go the early speed and was racing at the rear of the field while travelling wide for the majority shortly after the start. Appr Jky S Wilcock advised that the horse wasn’t suited by the racing surface today and appeared to resent the kickback in running. Stewards noted her comments. Stewards ordered a post-race veterinary examination be undertaken, this examination failed to detect any abnormalities.
 
QUEEN OF SSORTS- Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
KABUKICHO- Raced wide for the majority.
 
MISS RAPIDE-Raced wide for the majority.
 
RACE 3: ARGUS BUILDERS MAIDEN PLATE 1200M
 
BARGARA BOUND- Slow to begin, raced wide for the majority of the event. Ran on well over the final stages of the event.
 
SAMURAI WAND- Raced at the rear of the field for the majority before improving into the race from the 200m.
 
GLUTTONY- Raced wide with cover during the middle stages.
 
SORVINO- Raced towards the rear of the event while racing wide for the majority of the event.
 
RACE 4: ABH TRANSPORT BM55 HANDICAP 1200M
 
After inspecting the photo finish image Stewards were satisfied in the placings of Winner BLACK COUNTRY, 2nd Place- BONTOBEWILD, 3rd Place- MEKANIC and a dead heat for 4th placing between TIME TO TESTIFY and HOLY CROWN were correct with no margin able to be established between both of the dead heat runners. Subsequently declared correct weight on the numbers 7, 6,4,3/5.
 
HOLY CROWN- Slow to begin. Drifted back to race at the rear of the field during the early stages. Improved into the race from the   point.
 
MEKANIC- Raced wide for the majority.
 
BONTOBEWILD- Laid in and then out under pressure before being corrected by the rider over the final stages, resulting in BLACK COUNTRY being inconvenienced for a short period of time.
 
BLACK COUNTRY-Laid out during the middle stages of the event. Inconvenienced momentarily as a result of another runner laying in and out when under pressure over the final stages.
 
RACE 5: TAROOM WELDINGWORX/STORM BREAKER MEMORIAL TROPHY OPEN HANDICAP 1400M
 
KIPTANUI- After beginning fairly raced at the rear of the field before improving into the race from the 400m. Ran on strongly over the final stages, tending to lay out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
START STRUTTIN- Raced wide for the majority.
