THANGOOL RACE CLUB– SATURDAY 28th JANUARY, 2015
WEATHER – FINE TRACK RATING – GOOD (3)

Race 1: Qld Fire & Rescue Remembrance Day Maiden Plate- 1075 metres

INFINITE MISS- Little slow to into stride. Raced wide throughout. Lay in sharply under pressure leaving the 200 metres and was steadied from heels of another runner.

HAY CAL- Raced wide throughout.

IRONOUTLAW- Near the 200 metres, bumped and shifted out. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore fetlock. A veterinary certificate will be required prior to its next race start.

JEDDA’S GIRL- Shifted out leaving the 200 metres, made contact and caused another runner to be shifted out. Rider advised to exercise more care.

Race 2: Laurie Moller Memorial BM 60 Handicap- 1075 metres

HEZA BIT HUSSY- As the start was effected, began awkwardly, unbalanced the rider, who restrained the gelding, which caused the gelding to race ungenerously and shift out. The gelding was pulled up by its rider.

PIPIT- Hung out from the 800 metres for a short distance.

ME FAST TOO- Raced wide throughout.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH- On return to scale it was observed the gelding had bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasions, Trainer T Button was advised the gelding would be barred for 3 months and required to gallop over 1000 metres prior to its next race start.

Race 3: Arnie Rideout Memorial Class 4 Handicap- 1200 metres

DAILY PLANET- Difficult to load, raced wide throughout.

CHIAROSCURO and DUAN THEO- made contact on jumping.

WICKENBY- Little slow to begin and clipped heels of another runner and lost ground shortly after the start.

VOLTURNUS- Raced wide throughout.

Race 4: Patron Bob Moschioni Class B Handicap- 1400 metres

STRIKE ZONE- Jumped out and made contact with another runner and lost some ground.

PRICELESS HEART- Contact at the start by another runner.

LITTLE MOUNTAIN- Over-raced from the 1000 metres until near the 800 metres.

MAGIC TWIST- Raced wide throughout.

JOFFA VALOUR- Jumped in at the start. Regarding performance, rider stated that in his opinion the gelding did not handle the tight track, had been unbalanced and under pressure throughout and had failed to run on. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormality.

Race 5: Mick Hayden Memorial BM 70 Handicap- 1400 metres

No racing incidents.
