As the photo finish system was unable to capture a print, all placing were reviewed by the Judges and Stewards prior to the declaration of correct weight.
Race 1- Owner K Cawthray (COSTA LITTLE) viewed the patrol film for third. After doing so, Stewards and judges confirmed the placings as semaphored.
Race 5- Trainer M Reardon questioned the placing of TROPICAL HEATWAVE as third. After viewing the vision, Mr Reardon was satisfied with the judges placing.

Apprentice L Dodds was fined $200 for failing to claim to his riding weight of 52.5kg on Race 1 COSTA LITTLE, Race 2 ELDOSHAR and Race 4 PRETTY KITTY. He was subsequently replaced on ELDOSHAR when another apprentice was available.

Race 1: Auslec QTIS Maiden Plate- 1075 metres

HAY DRAG- When Jockey M. Barnham advised he was to be overweight, C McIver was substituted. Given his exemplary record, Jockey Barnham was reprimanded for being overweight. Slow to begin.

COSTA LITTLE- Slight contact with another runner at the start.

LIGHTNING ARTIST- Slight contact with another runner at the start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.

LILLIAN ELIZA- Raced wide throughout.

SPECIAL NELL- Slow to begin.

Race 2: Biloela Betta Home Living BM 65 Handicap- 1300 metres

TELESIUS- Began awkwardly and tightened between runners.

SEEN A HOST- Jumped in onto another runner.

WICKENBY- Taken in by another runner at the start.

CHERISHTHETHOUGHT- Raced wide throughout. Regarding performance, Jockey McIver stated the gelding had been inconsistent in its form. On today’s performance, he stated that while he had been position 3 wide with cover, the gelding had failed to race well throughout and when placed under pressure from the 800 metres had failed to respond to his riding.

ELDOSHAR- Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: M & M Sand and Gravel BM 55 Handicap- 1600 metres

INDY’S BULLION- Slow to begin.

BANNER- Slow to begin.

TOP GLORY- Began awkwardly.

FUNNY FELLOW- Raced wide throughout.

MIGHTY SAVANNAH- Near the 900 metres, eased when another runner rolled in when taking up leading position. When eased, commenced to race keenly until shifted to the outside of the leader.

Race 4: Propest BM 60 Handicap- 800 metres

DIABLE- Given the gelding had not started since 26/12/2012, underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to start.

TIME TO SPARE- Began awkwardly, made contact with another runner.

MURRAMANG- Contact at the start with another runner and lost ground.

CRYSTALS’N’ PEARLS- Jumped in onto another runner.

REV THE CHEV- Another runner jumped in onto the gelding at the start.

JEPTOO- Jumped in and made contact with another runner.

SAINT STAR- Contacted at the start when another runner jumped inwards.

Race 5: Carly- Mae Pye Memorial BM 60 Handicap- 800 metres

PRUSSIAN REIGN- Slow to begin.

TROPICAL HEATWAVE- Slow to begin.

HONOUR THE DAME- Began a little awkwardly and made contact with outside runner.

EMPRESS AYLEAH- Contacted the start by another runner.

Race 6: XXXX Open Handicap- 800 metres

AMBER ALE- Slow to begin. From the 300 metres, hung out and raced wide on the track. A further warning would be placed on the horse.

CORVIDAE- Slow to begin. Shortly after the start, hampered when another runner shifted in.

HEADHUNTER- As the gelding had not raced in approximately 2 years, underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to start. Slow to be begin. Shortly after the start, shifted in and hampered another runner.

MOKKIE MAGIC- Slow to begin.

COVERT CHARMOUR- Near the 300 metres raced in restricted room and momentarily held up.
