RACE 1: THANGOOL CUP SEPT 11TH Class 1 Handicap (1075m)
 
WOODLEY’S GOLD – Hung out throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
GEKKO – Jumped away awkwardly. Jockey J. Baker stated that his mount felt flat throughout the event and was awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
LOST LIGHTS – Slow to begin.
SILVAPLANA – Raced wide throughout the event.
BONNY’S TREASURE – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
RACE 2: AUSLEC BILOELA Maiden Plate (1200m)
 
BACIO VINCENTE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying signs of dehydration.
BEAT DA LIGHT – Overraced in the early and middle stages of the event.
CRAIGLEA WISH – Jumped away awkwardly, shifting in abruptly. Jockey J. Baker stated upon returning to scale that the gelding raced green throughout.
ISIS TURBO – Slow to begin.
SUDDEN SUSPECT – Hampered on jumping away.
 
RACE 3: SIMMONS BAKERY BENCHMARK 50 Handicap (1400m)
 
GETOUT OF MY NEIGH (NZ) – Raced wide throughout the event.
SMARTCELL – Stood flat footed as the start was affected, and as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event. Trainer M. Hassam was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s recorded for standing flat footed.   
BOLD ZIP – Was momentarily inconvenienced on jumping as both gates failed to open correctly.
MIGHTY MEERKAT – Was Declared a late scratching at 8:30am due to no available rider.
ARJAYCEE – Raced wide throughout the event.
NO MORE BIDS – Jockey C. McIver was suspended for using his whip on 16 occasions in breach of AR132(5). Jockey McIver license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days, to commence midnight 14th August 2021 and to conclude midnight 21st August 2021. In determining penalty, stewards took into account penalty submissions from Jockey C. McIver.
ON THE TWEED – Was Declared a late scratching at 8:30am due to no available rider.
AUSSIE TYCOON – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
RACE 4: NATIONAL JOCKEY’S TRUST BENCHMARK 60 Handicap (1600m)
 
CRAIGLEA ARION – Raced wide in the middle stages.
SIR VAN DYKE (GB) – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind leg. Trainer I. Shaw was advised that a vet certificate would be required prior to any future race starts.
WAMWARRA BAY – Slow to stride.
 
RACE 5: RAY WHITE BILOELA QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Handicap (800m)
 
CRAIGLEA DIVA – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced ungenerously throughout.  
I’M STROLLING – Jumped away awkwardly.      
ROUND THE FIRE – Laid in rounding the home turn. Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
DAUNTING PRINCESS – Laid out when placed under pressure in the straight.
