EXOCET ROCKET – Laid out rounding the home turn.

ILLECEBROUS – Jumped away awkwardly, hampering READY FOR MAGIC.

Race 2: BUNDABAROO/ NOEL O’SULLIVAN/ JIM TURNER CUP RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP 1100M  
 
CRAIGLEA ALTONA – Hung out rounding the turn approaching the 500m. Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
ACTON SHALE – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
FLASH HOMBRE – Was fractious in the barriers prior to jumping. Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
KARENO – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
DJEBEL READY – Reared on jumping, and as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s recorded for rearing on jumping.
 
BOLD ZIP – Was declared a late scratching at 11:30am due to no available rider.
 
SILVAPLANA – Was declared a late scratching at 11:30am due to no available rider.
 
 
Race 3: CLERMONT CONCRETE/ CLERMONT QUARRIES QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1300M   
 
ISIS TURBO – Slow into stride. Overraced in the early stages.
 
SIMPLE MELODY – Was declared a late scratching on vet’s advice after a post-race veterinary examination after competing on the previous day which revealed the gelding to have abrasions on the near-side ribs.
 
TRICKY BEANS – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
 
Race 4: EPPING FOREST/ BENTLEYS TWIN HILLS CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1300M  
 
CHARLIE CAT – Jumped away awkwardly, and as a result was slow into stride. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
WREN PLUCKED – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after competing in the past 24 hours and was cleared to start. Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
IMMUTABLE – Was declared a late scratching at 11:30am due to no available rider.
HUSSON’S SHOUT – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
 
Race 5: BRAVUS/C GUILFOYLE & ASSOC/ CLERMONT VET SURGERY CLASS B HANDICAP 1300M
 
SHIRAISHI – Slow to begin. Approaching the 800m, had to steady to avoid the heels of LITTLE SPOON. Hung in rounding the home turn. Elected to shift out passing the 150m to obtain clear running. Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
 
KEIRETSU – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
MBAPPE – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
BONNY’S TREASURE – Was declared a late scratching at 11:30am due to no available rider.
 
WATCH LIST (NZ) – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after competing in the past 24 hours and was cleared to start. Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in when placed under pressure in the straight.
