Jockey Allen was also reminded of her obligations to ensure her whip hand does not become raised above her shoulder.

Declaration of correct weight was delayed after App M Savva, rider of 3rd placegetter HAIL TO THE CHIEF, lodged an objection against 2nd placed TUFFNUT (C Taylor), alleging interference approaching the winning post. After taking evidence from the riders involved as well as connections of the two runners and viewing the patrol footage Stewards determined that TUFFNUT had shifted out marginally to improve around heels at a point approaching the winning post, simultaneously HAIL TO THE CHIEF had laid in marginally and the two runners subsequently bumped. As Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the bump was solely attributable to TUFFNUT and bearing in mind the half-head margin as well as the proximity of the bump to the winning post, Stewards dismissed the protest and declared correct weight on the Judges semaphored numbers.

BUMM DIMPLE RUM- Slow into stride.

REJOICED- Took the home turn awkwardly and became unbalanced. App J Williams pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of AR131(a) in that near the 1000m he did permit his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of GLOBAL FACTOR causing that runner to be checked and shift in onto the running of SHEINDLIN which was also obliged to check and shift in onto the running of AVISION which became tightened for room, contacted the inside running rail becoming unbalanced and was obliged to steady. App Williams license to ride in races was subsequently suspended for a period of 13 days to commence 4th September up to and including 16th September 2022.
