GENERAL

Stewards permitted the following overweights at tonights meeting:

Race 1- App C Vitler +1/2kg
Race 4- Jockey C Bayliss +1/2kg

As App Vitler was unable to satisfy the allotted weights in races 4 and 5, Stewards permitted replacements as per the race day summary. As no other riders were available to replace App Vitler in Race 1, Stewards permitted App Vitler to ride the mare 1/2kg over its allocated weight. App Vitler was subsequently fined the sum of $300 under the provisions of AR190(3) for accepting rides when overweight.

As App C Vitler & App B Wheeler were unable to fulfil their engagements in Race 6 due to illness Stewards permitted rider changes as per the race day summary. Both App Vitler & App Wheeler were advised they required medical clearances prior to riding again.

As App M Goring was indisposed and unable to fulfil his engagements Stewards permitted rider replacements as per the race day summary.
