Stewards questioned rider Appr E MacPherson regarding the seemingly disappointing performance of the Mare. E MacPherson advised Stewards that when the horse approached the 800 metre it didn’t respond to her riding and from that point raced disappointingly, she advised it didn’t appear to be suited by the track conditions today.
