RACE 1- BROOK SPORTS MANAGEMENT MAIDEN PLATE 800 M
Prior to correct weight an objection was lodged by Stewards (A. Streckbein) on behalf of the connections of 4th passed the post horse STAFFO (I. Jessop) alleging interference passing the 100m. After giving evidence A. Streckbein excused himself from the objection. The remaining panel obtained evidence from W. Galloway (IGOTMYMINDONYOU) and I. Jessop (STAFFO). On the evidence, margin and the available patrol footage Stewards were comfortably satisfied that if STAFFO had not received interference passing the 100m it would have finished in advance of IGOTMYMINDONYOU and so upheld the objection and subsequently declared correct weight on the new numbers of 6 - 5 - 7 -1.
