Race 1: AAOD/Brodie Agencies Maiden Plate 800 metres:
1st – BONTEMPELLI 2nd – YARD GLASS 3rd – HONEY CAT 4th – STAR OF ISAAC

STAR OF ISAAC – Slow to begin.

AERO FAST – On return to scale Jockey S McGovern reported that his mount was reluctant to stretch out due to the kickback and was inclined to hang out.

Race 2: R Blacket/Searles Livestock Open Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – FIVE O’CLOCK 2nd – SKAZIA 3rd – HOLEY GADOLEY 4th – FOREWARNED

CHAMPAGNE FLYER – When no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey S McGovern to ride the mare 2kg over of its declared weight.

Passing the 800 metres FOREWARNED (Jockey T Brummell) had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of EXCEEDED (Jockey K Ballard) which shifted in away from FLAMINGO ROSE (Jockey B Thomson) when that runner shifted in when not quite clear. Jockey B Thomson was told to exercise more care in the future and ensure she leaves sufficient racing room for runners to her inside.

Race 3: Landmark Winton QTIS Class 1 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – RAPID QUALO 2nd – SUBOSAMI 3rd – LITTLE VICTORIES 4th – GOOD MOOD

SUBOSAMI - When no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey S McGovern to ride the mare 2kg over of its declared weight.

No racing incidents.

Race 4: Spar Winton/Cloncurry Mustering Benchmark 60 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – ANOTHER SHADE 2nd – COURT ACTION 3rd – JOHNNYDRAMA 4th – KOMODO

MOJAVE ROYALE – Was a late withdrawal at 10am when no rider was available.

COWARDOFTHECOUNTY - When no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey S McGovern to ride the horse 2kg over of its declared weight.

JOHNNYDRAMA – Was fractious in the gates and began awkwardly.

MONTH OF SUNDAYS – Raced wide throughout. Jockey B Thomson was reprimanded under AR137A(5)(a)(ii) for using her whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100 metres. 2 more than permitted under the rule. In determining penalty Stewards took into account her exemplary record in relation to the rule.

Race 5: Grants Concrete/Ringrose & Button Class B Handicap 1400 metres:
1st – LARABEE 2nd – READY FOR ROYALTY 3rd – STAR ODYSSEY 4th – DASHING DUB

READY FOR ROYALTY - When no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey S McGovern to ride the gelding 2kg over of its declared weight.

DASHING DUB - When no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey T Chambers to ride the gelding 2kg over of its declared weight.

The start was delayed when Jockey B Thomson was dislodged from LARABEE during the parade to the start. Jockey B Thomson was examined by the ambulance officers and passed fit to fulfil her engagement.

SPICEBOMB – Was difficult to load then slow to begin. Shortly after straightening had to be steadied when disappointed for a narrow run.
